Kumlubük is located a little further than Turunç and is famous for its restaurants and sandy beaches. Make time for a morning or evening walk to the old city of Amos. Amos can be reached within an hour from Turunç and within half an hour from Kumlubük. The remains of the ancient city wall and the theatre can still be found and the Necropolis is located next to the slope of the bay.
In many places, on Anatolian coasts, legends and names are related to Cleopatra. It is known that the Queen and her lover, the Roman warlord Antony, visited the Anatolian coasts. Cleopatra Island has a legend that is related to the golden and yellowish sand. There is said that the sand had been removed from Egypt by ship for a meeting of Cleopatra and Antony on the Island. Cleopatra Beach attracts attention with its golden sand and the turquoise color of the sea.
