The private tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our guide, made the experience both informative and enjoyable. We weren’t tied to a strict schedule and could share our preferences, which was great. Thanks to the private setup, we were able to skip most of the long lines that are typical in Istanbul. At Hagia Sophia, the directory shared her personal perspective on Islam in a very respectful and thoughtful way never trying to convince, just inform. We also made an unscheduled stop at the Basilica Cistern, which was definitely worth it. A big thank you to directory for a wonderful day!

The vehicle was clean and well-equipped, and the additional driver was friendly and professional. Everything went smoothly and exactly as booked no stress at all. Our guide picked us up right at the hotel. He was super friendly and really knowledgeable. We walked around all the sights, and he shared tons of info while giving us plenty of time to really enjoy everything. We got some amazing photos and had a fantastic time. The lunch spot he recommended was great too. I can’t recommend this tour enough. We went on a Tuesday, so the program was a bit different. was an outstanding guide

The directory gave us an excellent tour of the old town. He shared detailed and thorough info about all the sights. We even had kofte at a local restaurant we probably wouldn’t have tried on our own. As planned, we said goodbye to him at Taksim Square and then walked back to the ship.

We began our day at Topkapi Palace, surrounded by amazing history and artifacts. Hagia Sophia always impresses. The Blue Mosque is currently under major renovation, so it was a bit tough to fully appreciate. The Grand Bazaar is definitely a must-see you could easily spend days exploring it

The morning tour was fantastic we visited Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. Our guide did a great job. But in the afternoon, things changed; we got pushed into some sales presentations, which was disappointing. We would’ve preferred more time to explore the city on our own. To top it off, we had to wait an hour for our driver to pick us up and take us back to the hotel, which was a frustrating way to end the day.

The dicertory was an amazing guide really friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share everything. However, I wasn’t impressed with the transportation or the way it was described. The car wasn’t with us all day like we expected. For the price, we thought we’d have the car available to leave our stuff and come back to it easily. Instead, it took over 30 minutes for the car to pick us up at the end. I’d recommend as a guide but not the overall experience.

The guide was very nice, though not a native speaker. She arrived on time and was neat. We had to book the VIP tour because we wanted a Russian-speaking guide, We were told beforehand that the VIP tour included a chauffeur for the whole day, the guide, no queuing at sights, and entrance fees. The chauffeur did pick us up on time and dropped us off in the old town, but then left us there since the entire tour was in that area. Only one of the seven stops had advance tickets that let us skip the line; for the others, we ended up queuing for hours in the hot sun. The guide was helpful and friendly, Also, there was no lunch or drinks included for that price.

The guide with us was friendly and polite. However, the service we received was far from the red carpet tour that had been promised, especially considering the price we paid. Less than 24 hours before the tour, we were informed that there wouldn’t be a Portuguese guide available. They said if we wanted Portuguese, they couldn’t guarantee the quality. While we also speak English, it’s unfair to inform us so late when this was surely known well in advance. and there was no car provided. On the day of the tour, we learned the Grand Bazaar was closeda fact the company must have known beforehandand yet no alternative was offered, not even a drive around the city, despite us paying for a full tour. The historical explanations were very basic and only covered the few places we visited. To make matters worse, it rained heavily in the morning, and they didn’t provide umbrellas we had to pay for them ourselves. Overall, we feel cheated.
