Overview

Join our Bursa Day Tour From Istanbul and visit one of the most important cities of Turkey with your friends or family. Bursa used to be the first capital during the era of the Ottoman Empire. Nowadays, it is the 3rd largest city of the country and attracts thousands of visitors every year. With a plethora of spectacular landscapes, archaeological monuments and deep rooted culture, Bursa is able to offer you an exciting and relaxing day.

Istanbul Bursa Day Tour begins during the morning from the city centre of Istanbul. A fully air conditioned bus will pick you up from your hotel. A tour guide will accompany you during this trip in order to provide interesting descriptions and assist you. The bus will drive you towards the harbour in order to embark into a car ferry and cross the Marmara Sea. Take advantage of this trip to enjoy some beautiful views over Bosporus and admire the Bosporus Bridge.

After passing Marmara Sea, the bus will drive you towards Bursa, through Yalova. During this excursion, several short stops will be made for your own comfort. The first stop will take place at Gemlik, at a location close to a lake. There, you will spend an hour of free time. During this break, you can relax and admire the beauty of nature, enjoy a traditional Turkish tea or if you seek some extra adventure, you may hire an ATV to explore the area at an extra cost.

Istanbul Bursa Day Tour continues with a stop at a Turkish Delight Shop. There, you can learn some interesting facts about this famous Turkish dessert, taste different flavours and purchase your favourite ones. A road trip follows towards Bursa, where you will visit the Uludag Mountain. A short stop will be made at a 600-year old plane tree in order to snap some photos and observe its imposing size. Then, you will continue with the road trip to the mountain, where a lunch break will be offered at a local restaurant.

Energized and relaxed, you will be driven towards the centre of the mountain where hotels are. Once there, you will have free time to spend as you wish. The beauty of nature will offer you the perfect backdrop for some photos and give you energy boosts to proceed with your exploration. At the end of the free time, you will join an ultra-fun cable car ride from the mountain towards the centre of Bursa.

Then, a bus will take you to the Green Mosque. This important monument includes tombs, a library and many other interesting rooms to explore. An interesting highlight is that, the Mosque took its named from the green tiles that decorate its interior. Next to that, there is a small silk market that you can visit and purchase beautiful souvenirs.

After exploring Bursa, the bus will drive you back to Istanbul. This tour finishes during the night when you arrive back to your hotel in the city centre. By that time, you will be feeling a sense of sweet tiredness but your excursion will offer you great and unique memories.

This was honestly the worst tour I’ve ever been on. The guide wasn’t very friendly, and we didn’t feel comfortable at all. They took us to activities that should’ve been mentioned beforehand and paid for in advance. Plus, our time at the top of Uludağ was way too short.

The place itself was nice, but the guide was a bit tough to understand. The so called "secret stops" felt sketchy and mostly seemed designed to get us to buy souvenirs. The quad bike part was misleading we were told we’d ride to the mountain top for great views, but instead, we just went down some rough paths for a photo op and ended up looking at the backs of factories. The quad bikes were in pretty bad shape and not really safe. The helmets didn’t even properly fasten. Two bikes broke down, and one couple had a crash where the bike rolled over them, though luckily their injuries were minor. We also spent way too much time at souvenir shops instead of the actual destination, which was the main reason to take the tour.

There was no hotel pickup we had to walk to a meeting point, and it was freezing. We ended up waiting outside in the cold for about 30 minutes. The guide was nice, though. The listing says “lunch,” but it was actually more like dinner since we didn’t eat until around 6 PM. Luckily, the food tasted great. Be careful with the extra activities — a lot of them feel like money traps. I bought a few, but they weren’t really worth it since the quality wasn’t that good. Still, you’re better off bringing a good camera and taking your own shots. One important heads-up: the guide will ask where you're from and tell the sellers. If you speak multiple languages, just stick to your native one they tend to talk in languages they think you don’t understand to overcharge or mislead you.

Honestly, not worth the hassle. The whole trip seemed designed to help the operators earn commission, with way too many stops at shops, it felt like we were being pushed to buy stuff we didn’t want. Pickup wasn’t on time either. They showed up over 15 minutes late and then made us walk about 10 minutes to the van. The guide came across as rude and pretty dismissive. Because of all the pointless shop stops, a lot of time was wasted, and in the end, we only got less than an hour at Uludağ, which was supposed to be the main part of the trip. Wouldn’t recommend.

I booked this tour hoping to spend a full day in the mountains, but the experience didn’t quite match my expectations. The hotel pickup was confirmed the day before, but just 10 minutes before the scheduled time, I got a message asking me to meet at Taksim Square instead. The group left around 9:30 AM by bus, with several shopping stops along the way (around five in total). We finally arrived in the mountains at 3:00 PM, but only had about 40 minutes to enjoy the snow before heading down to Bursa by cable car. The return trip to Istanbul was by bus and ferry, which felt unnecessary since there’s a bridge option. Overall, the trip lasted 13 hours, but we only got a short time at the actual mountain, which was the main reason I booked it. The snowy views were beautiful, but I would have appreciated more time there and fewer stops en route.

A lot of time was taken up by stops at the ATV safari, Turkish delight shop, jam store, and the Silk Market. The constant pressure from the vendors made it really hard to browse or buy anything comfortably. On the other hand, we barely got to spend any time at the Green Mosque, and the visit to the famous tree was skipped altogether. The guide did make sure we stayed on schedule and understood the plan, but he could’ve been a bit more kind and approachable. The pickup process was also frustrating they didn’t stick to the agreed time or place. After waiting over 30 minutes at the location they gave us, we were told to walk to their office, and even then, we had to wait longer for the bus to show up.

The ski resort itself was really nice, and the ferry ride to Bursa was an interesting experience. But overall, the package didn’t feel worth it. Before even getting to Uludağ, we were taken to a factory and a few shops, which took up a lot of time. In the end, we only had less than an hour at the ski resort, and there wasn’t much to do there in that short time.

Everything was well-organized from start to finish! The ferry ride to Bursa was a nice touch, and the views along the way were beautiful. Uludağ was absolutely stunning we had enough time to enjoy the snow, take photos, and relax. Our guide was kind, informative, and kept things running smoothly. We also got to experience some local culture through the small stops, which I actually enjoyed. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants a fun, easy day trip out of Istanbul!

Loved every part of this trip! The transportation was comfortable, the guide was helpful, and the itinerary had a good mix of sightseeing and cultural experiences. The highlight was definitely Uludağ the scenery was breathtaking, and even though it was cold, it was such a refreshing break from the city. I also liked the stop at the Turkish delight shop a nice surprise! Great value for the price and would happily do it again.

The trip ended up being much longer than expected. Instead of heading straight to the mountain, we were taken to several shops where it felt like the guide had arrangements for commission. We spent around 2–3 hours at these places, and by the time we finally got to the mountain, we barely had an hour to enjoy it. It honestly felt like a wasted day.

Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. The hotel pickup was from the wrong location and ended up being 45 minutes late. The return trip wasn’t organized properly either, and the guide eventually had to pay for our taxi. The group was quite large, which caused frequent delays since we had to wait for everyone at every stop. There were too many detours to pricey tourist shops, and the ATV stop which cost 2,000 Lira per vehicle and wasn’t part of the original plan was treated as the main highlight. Meanwhile, the ferry ride across the Marmara Sea, which was one of the reasons I booked this tour, was skipped entirely. Lunch was fine, but very basic and served at a roadside spot on the way to Uludağ. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t see much from the cable car and by the time we took it, it was already dark. Because of all the unnecessary stops and long waits, there was no time left to visit Bursa or try the famous kebab. In the end, it felt like we just spent a full day sitting on a bus.

The activity description didn’t quite match the actual experience. We were picked up from the hotel at 8 AM, but didn’t finish picking up other passengers until around 9:30. Most of the day was spent sitting on the bus, and the actual sightseeing time at each location was limited to about 1 to 1.5 hours. Despite what's advertised, there was no ferry ride to Bursa the entire journey was by bus. We didn’t even get to the lunch stop until around 4:30 PM, which matches what other reviews had mentioned. That said, the snowy mountains and the cable car ride were definitely beautiful and were the highlight of the day. All in all, I wouldn’t strongly recommend this tour unless you're okay with spending most of your time on a bus and very little actually exploring.

Uludağ Mountain is truly an amazing and beautiful destination, but if you want to fully enjoy it, I wouldn’t recommend this tour. The transportation logistics were really poor just the pickup and return took over two hours. Along the way, they made multiple stops at shops where they pushed products to buy, and in the end, we only had about one hour to spend on Uludağ itself. The journey back was especially slow; instead of taking a direct route, they took a train which added more than three hours, even though Uludağ is less than three hours by car from Istanbul. Overall, I’d suggest either choosing a different tour or planning your own trip. You might even consider staying overnight to really enjoy the snow and the mountain atmosphere.

The transportation was pretty average the vehicle was narrow and ventilation wasn’t great, plus the AC was inconsistent. So if you’re wearing heavy jackets, it can get a bit uncomfortable. That said, Yasser, our guide, was awesome and really kind, and the driver did a great job. I wouldn’t recommend the ATV ride during wet winter conditions unless you don’t mind getting your nice clothes dirty. The cable car and open-air chair lift were definitely highlights. I’d strongly suggest bringing warm winter gear like ski goggles, thermal clothes, and good gloves otherwise, it’ll be really tough to stay comfortable out there. Overall, we had a good time despite some minor hassles. The ride back to the hotel on the Roro ferry was a nice way to end the day.

It was a really nice excursion! The guide was friendly and paid good attention to us. That said, the trip felt focused on getting people to spend money every stop was at a shop. But if you’re into buying souvenirs, tea, coffee, lokum, or beauty products, that could be a plus. The travel time was pretty long, though, which was a bit tough since we had two young kids with us. I wouldn’t recommend this one if you’re traveling with little ones. Thanks again!

I might have overlooked the late start if it hadn’t been for the unexpected hour long trip to the quad bike park, which wasn’t part of the original plan. We basically ended up waiting until 3:30 PM for lunch, with stops at Turkish delight and jam shops instead of the scheduled activities. There was only one boat ride, which lasted about 30 minutes and was done in complete darkness. The lunch was good, and the mountain scenery was absolutely stunning. Just a heads-up check the fine print on your ticket, because the mountain tour with the cable car doesn’t always include the cable car ride itself. We had to pay extra on the spot, which was a surprise, though it was worth it. We also enjoyed the chair lift through the snow, which was an additional. We got a quick look inside the Green Mosque, but the mausoleum was closed, and the bus rides felt very long.

One extra we definitely wouldn’t do again was the mountain bike it wasn’t enjoyable at all. We wish we had more time to actually explore Bursa. Dinner was pretty good too. After visiting Uludağ station, they took us on a chairlift ride, but you had to pay an extra. Be ready to spend more than expected or wait around for others doing the mountain bike or chairlift. Plus, there’s about three hours of driving there and back, so come prepared.

The trip was incredible. Muhammed was an excellent host who kept everyone engaged and well informed at each stop. The mountains had a unique atmosphere, and the snowy landscapes looked almost surreal. We had the option to try quad biking, a chair lift, and a cable car for extra costs, and it was definitely worth every penny. Big thanks to Mohammed Hassan for being such a fantastic guide throughout the tour.

The trip was fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of my Istanbul holiday. The guide was very punctual, communicated clearly, and was super organized. We even exchanged numbers, and on the morning of the tour, he messaged us with the pickup time and when to be ready. The pickup went smoothly, and the ferry ride was really enjoyable. We started with quad biking in Yelova, which was a lot of fun. In Bursa, we visited a honey and Turkish delight shop. The guide was very clear about the 45-minute time limit and made sure everyone returned promptly. Each activity had set times, and he was great at keeping us on schedule. We then spent about an hour and 45 minutes at Uludağ Mountain. The guide helped organize chairlift tickets for everyone, which we paid for in cash, and the ride was amazing. After that, we took the cable car down to Bursa, which was fantastic! Our final stops were the Green Mosque, the Green Baths (now shops), and the Sultan’s house. Overall, I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

The whole setup was really efficient, and Mr. Mete kept great communication with us through WhatsApp. I didn’t have to wait long for pickup, and the ferry ride was excellent. They made a few stops for restroom breaks and coffee along the way. There were some optional activities, but you can skip them like I did. We had a nice, relaxed lunch though it was a bit late because there was a lot to fit in, so maybe that could be improved. Playing in the snow was a lot of fun, and there are restrooms and a mosque up on the mountain too. Overall, it was a really good experience. The guide and driver were both great, and I’ll definitely recommend this tour to my friends back home.

Excellent service throughout! Our family of four, including my 11-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter, traveled from Istanbul to Bursa. The bus was very comfortable, with stops for local shopping and photo opportunities. Lunch was delicious and well prepared. The highlight was definitely the chair lift a truly unique experience, though it came with an extra cost. Our guide Mohammad was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, fog and snow during the cable car ride kept us from seeing the top of Uludağ, including its impressive peak, the highest in Turkey. Even so, we still had a great time overall.

The trip itself was amazing, and we really enjoyed our time at Uludağ. However, we felt rushed at most stops. This tour really went beyond what I expected everything was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. We took a bus to the port, then crossed the Sea of Marmara on a ferry (with the bus onboard), and continued on to Bursa. In Bursa, we visited a Turkish Delight factory, then stopped at a beautiful lookout over the city. Lunch was in a lovely spot up in the mountains, and it was tasty and filling. After that, we made a quick stop at a jam shop before heading to Uludağ. The cable car was closed, but we got a free chair lift ride instead, which was amazing! The snow was so much fun—definitely bring a warm jacket. We rode down during sunset, which was absolutely beautiful, then had some more time to explore Bursa before heading back to Istanbul. The tour felt more like a shopping trip than a proper sightseeing experience. We spent a lot of time on the bus, with several short stops at stores selling things like sweets, soap, and jam. Lunch was quite late, around 2:30 p.m., and while the meat was tender, the food overall was very plain just some salad with no dressing, wheat, and grilled meat. Side dishes were available, but only at an extra cost. At Uludağ, there was a chairlift ride to the top, but again, that wasn't included and had to be paid for separately. Our visit to the mosque in Bursa was very quick, and we explored it on our own with only a brief explanation beforehand. On the positive side, our guide (Sadik, I believe) was very kind and did his best to make the day pleasant, and the driver was great too. When visiting the tree area, I’d recommend walking around and trying some sahlep it’s a really tasty drink. Also, grab some fresh fruits to snack on during the bus ride; the prices there were quite reasonable. Lunch was simple and nice, but if you prefer stronger flavors, you might want to bring your own spices to add. Uludağ was stunning, and I really enjoyed the chairlift ride all the way to the highest point. If you’re not afraid of heights, it’s definitely worth it! The day trip to Bursa was nice overall, but the liaison wasn’t honest about the hotel pickup and drop-off. He said there were road closures because of a bike race, so we had to meet at a different hotel about a 15-minute walk uphill. As an older adult, that was tough but we managed. After a long, cold, and wet day, they still wouldn’t bring us back to our hotel, again blaming road closures but when we checked online and asked our hotel, there were no closures at all! I also think the liaison should have given better weather warnings so people could prepare, not just tell us to bring a jacket. The tour guide was friendly and informative, and the shops along the way were interesting. Unfortunately, the heavy rain meant we couldn’t see much on the mountain, which was disappointing since that was the main reason for the trip. Overall, I’d say the tour was average because of the misleading info from the liaison and the bad weather.

Overall, we did enjoy the trip, but there were a few things that didn’t go so smoothly. The tour started about 1.5 hours late, most likely because of traffic. And later, getting back into the city took forever over 4 hours stuck in the evening rush. Along the way, we stopped at three different shops: one for sweets, one for olives and sauces, and another with various Turkish souvenirs. These stops were clearly aimed at tourists, and the prices weren’t as “cheap” as promised. At each stop, the staff was quite pushy, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Another thing that stood out was the lack of commentary from the guide during the long bus ride — it would’ve been nice to hear more about the places we were passing through. And the “free soft drink” during lunch turned out to be just Ayran, so not really much of a choice there.

There were a few shopping stops along the way, but no pressure to buy anything. I’d definitely recommend this tour. One thing they could improve is grouping people by language. We were the only English-speaking family, so we missed a lot of the detailed info and history. The guide did his best to give us a quick 3-minute summary after explaining everything in Arabic to the rest of the group, but it wasn’t the same. Also, I don’t think this tour is great for young kids. The long 13-hour day combined with the summer heat really wore them out they were restless and fussy the whole time. The tour description mentioned a boat trip to Bursa, but we were actually on the bus the whole way except for a short 30-minute boat crossing at Gebze canal. Some activities felt a bit pointless and took up too much time. The only highlights were Uludag Mountain and the Green Mosque, which honestly could be done in just half a day instead of 13 hours. The hotel pickup and drop-off service just added to the waiting time since the bus had to circle through the old town, which made the start and end of the day frustrating. It would be way quicker if everyone just met at a single meeting point instead. Especially since this same transport is used for other tours too. By 9:30 am, we were still in Eminonu organizing the groups for the trip, which was a bit disappointing.

The tour started with a 50 minute stop at a Turkish delight shop, which felt like a waste of time since you can find those all over Turkey. Because of that, lunch was pushed pretty late around 3 PM which could’ve been earlier if we hadn’t spent so long shopping. They also stopped at a jam shop for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much history or background shared about Bursa, and we didn’t get to explore the old town or market. We got back to the hotel around 10 PM, tired, and I feel like the trip could’ve been shorter if it wasn’t focused so much on shopping stops. The lunch was very basic, but I guess that’s expected for the price.

The trip was enjoyable, though quite long, so by the end we were pretty tired! The staff were friendly and helpful, and Hamza kept things light with some jokes. The stops at the jam, silk, and Turkish delight shops were nice but lasted a bit too long shortening them would improve the experience. Visiting the 610 year old çınar tree was definitely worthwhile. The cable car ride was fantastic, and we also opted for the chair lift, which was excellent.

The tour was great, and we enjoyed every place we visited. I learned a lot about Turkey’s history. I’d definitely visit Bursa again, probably during winter next time. Definitely worth the money!

Hamza, our tour guide, was fantastic. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because of the lunch the restaurant could be better. Also, two stops at Turkish delight shops felt unnecessary and made the long trip feel even longer. Still, overall it was a positive experience.

You get to see some incredible spots in Bursa and nearby areas. Honestly, I find the Green Mosque there even more stunning than Istanbul’s famous Blue Mosque. Definitely recommend this tour if you have the chance.

This was honestly one of the most fun trips I’ve had during my stay in Istanbul. Everything was really well organized, and the people I met our guide, the driver, and fellow travelers were all super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. It felt like everyone genuinely enjoyed the day. I’m already looking forward to booking another tour through this app!

I’ve been fortunate to travel quite a bit over the years, but this tour truly stood out it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Honestly, I was hesitant to book at first after reading some of the negative reviews mentioning too many shop stops and other minor complaints. But I wanted to treat my family to something memorable, and I’m so glad I went ahead with it. The trip began with a smooth hotel pickup, followed by a scenic hour-long bus ride to the ferry. After a peaceful 40-minute ferry crossing, we continued by bus to reach Bursa. Along the way, we stopped at a Turkish delight shop and a jam store, where they showed us how the treats are made. I actually enjoyed both stops especially sampling the sweets and sipping on Turkish coffee. Next, we visited a breathtaking centuries-old tree, with the mountains rising beautifully in the background. Lunch came afterward, which was simple but satisfying. Then came the real highlight: the chair lift and cable car rides. The views were incredible something you don’t get to experience every day. If you're wondering whether it’s worth it absolutely yes. I'd go again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the charm of Bursa in a well-paced, enjoyable way.

This tour is honestly great value for what you get. It’s a full day packed with different stops, and every part felt worth it. The scenery throughout the trip was just breathtaking. Some of the places we visited, especially up in the mountains and deep in the forested areas, had this calm, peaceful energy it really made me feel something spiritual. It’s not just a sightseeing tour, it’s an experience that stays with you.

Bursa is a lovely place to visit, but the tour could use better organisation, especially when it comes to the pickup arrangements. We didn’t leave Istanbul until after 10am, which cut into our time in Bursa. Most of the stops felt a bit too commercial, so we didn’t get much of a chance to really see the city. That said, the guide and driver were both great, and overall it was still an enjoyable day out.

Mete did a fantastic job managing everything smoothly. The bus ride to Bursa was really comfortable, and the ferry ride was a nice touch you can enjoy a cup of tea while taking in the sea view. Bursa itself was stunning, and the trip felt easygoing with just a few stops, which kept things relaxed. The cable car ride was definitely the best part for me. I’d totally recommend this tour—it's a great value for a nearly full-day trip to another city, and the lunch in a natural setting was delicious.

I did this tour on my own, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Everything was smooth from the hotel pickup to the ferry ride. I loved the quiet moment at the lake in Gemlik, and the views from Uludağ were something else. The cable car ride was absolutely worth it, and the guide was super friendly and informative. Great mix of culture, history, and nature.

Took this trip with my two teens. We all had a great time. The stops were well spaced out, and the Turkish delight factory was a hit with the kids. The cable car ride and lunch in the mountains were perfect for recharging. Bursa itself is beautiful and the guide kept things interesting without overloading us with too much info. Totally worth it for a full-day getaway from Istanbul.

This was a super chill day out of the city. I went on my own and ended up chatting with a few others in the group, which was nice. The ferry across the Marmara was peaceful, and Bursa has a very calm, historic vibe. The best part for me was the time at the lake and on the mountain. Not rushed at all.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with this tour. The scenery in Bursa is beautiful, but the day felt very rushed and too focused on commercial stops. We spent a lot of time at the Turkish delight shop and not enough time exploring the actual city. The guide was nice, but I didn’t feel like I really got to know Bursa. It could’ve been better planned.

It was an okay trip. We enjoyed the views from the cable car and the nature around Uludağ, but the rest of the tour felt a bit repetitive. There were too many long stops for shopping, and not much free time to explore on our own. I think it could be improved with better time management and more focus on historical parts of Bursa.

The cable car and Uludağ Mountain were great, but the rest of the tour didn’t live up to expectations. There was a lot of sitting in traffic and waiting around, and we didn’t leave Istanbul until pretty late in the morning. Some stops felt like they were just there to encourage shopping. The guide tried their best, but the overall experience wasn’t worth a full day for us.

We had a really nice day overall. The cable car ride was stunning and the lunch on the mountain was tasty. The scenery in Bursa is beautiful, especially around Uludağ.
