There weren't many visitors, which was great. The museum itself is excellent, especially if you're interested in Turkish and Islamic carpets. They have outstanding pieces dating back to the 13th century, complete with historical context. I paid for an audio guide but didn’t receive one, and there were no directions provided on how to collect it. Possibly it was available at the museum's main ticket desk, which I had skipped.

The collection of carpets and rugs was truly remarkable. However, it was a bit disappointing that the lighting caused reflections on the protective glass, which made it hard to view some exhibits clearly. Hopefully, they will consider a better display setup that minimizes glare in the future.

The museum itself was a pleasure to explore. Unfortunately, the ticketing process wasn’t smooth although I had the reservation vouchers on the app, I needed a Wi-Fi connection to actually receive the tickets. The same issue applied to the audio guide; without internet access, it wasn’t possible to use it. A bit of a hassle if you're not connected during your visit.

We had trouble getting in, as our voucher wasn't accepted at the entrance, and the staff weren't particularly helpful. Eventually, another security guard assisted us by photographing our two QR codes, which we then used at the turnstile. It did work in the end, but the process was confusing, slow, and frustrating. That said, the museum itself was outstanding.
