The ferry experience was disappointing. The restroom was unclean, and the walls were in poor condition with peeling paint. We had hoped to relax at the beach, but the location was too far from the main shoreline, which was a letdown. Overall, we didn’t have a pleasant time, so I wouldn’t suggest this trip to others.

We purchased ferry tickets and had a wonderful time on the boat there’s nothing quite like being out on the open water. Our destination was Büyükada, the largest island, and it lived up to its reputation though it was quite busy, as expected. The highlight of the return trip was watching the sunset over the water absolutely stunning. All in all, it was a fantastic day out.

The departure ferry ran perfectly on schedule with no issues. Unfortunately, our return trip was delayed by over 15 minutes - we didn't set sail until well past 4pm. While we had built in some buffer time, this unexpected delay created significant anxiety as we had time-sensitive, non-refundable plans to reach afterward.

I cannot recommend visiting these islands. Many attractions on the main island are either inaccessible or no longer exist. The small electric buses operate without clear schedules or route information, and non English speakers will find no language assistance available. The return journey was satisfactory, but we encountered a significant issue with ticketing. Despite having a valid ticket for two adults, the staff refused to honor it for my companion and demanded additional payment. Only after persistent complaints did they relent. The boat ride itself was enjoyable, though the route details could have been clearer; I didn’t realize we’d be stopping at other islands first, which caused some initial confusion. It would also be useful if the map included estimated walking times for both the short and long trails, as well as marking public restrooms along the way. The Island Museum was a real highlight the curator was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the exhibits were fascinating. It’s a shame more visitors don’t take the time to explore it.

One of the best activities you can do when you come to Istanbul is the island tour. We only had a few problems with the guide, but the island is breathtaking.

Cycling around the island was the best decision. We felt like we saw everything at our own pace. The tour was well organized. I took some great photos and was very pleased.

As a solo traveler, I thought this was a decent excursion, but not exceptional. The ferry ride was nice, and Büyükada is pretty, but the tour felt a bit rushed. I would have liked more time to explore the island independently instead of following a set route.

My family loved this tour! The ferry ride was smooth, and Büyükada felt like stepping back in time no cars, just bikes and horse carriages. The kids enjoyed the ice cream shops, and we loved the historic houses. The guide was friendly and gave us great tips for exploring. Perfect day trip from Istanbul!

It was… fine. The ferry was nice, and the island is pretty, but the tour itself didn’t offer much beyond basic sightseeing. Felt a bit overpriced for what it was. Okay for a lazy day, but don’t expect anything thrilling.

Enjoyed the tour overall the island is peaceful, and the wooden houses are picturesque. However, the Monastery climb was tougher than expected (wear good shoes!). The ferry back was a bit crowded, but still a good experience.

Went with my parents, and they loved the slow pace of the island. The only downside was the limited lunch options most places were either full or pricey. Still, the views and relaxed vibe made it worth it.

I traveled solo and loved the tranquility of this tour. The guide was informative but also gave us free time to explore. Renting a bike was the best decision I rode around the whole island, stopping at little beaches and bakeries. A perfect break from Istanbul’s chaos.

The ferry ride was lovely, and Büyükada is charming, but the tour felt a bit short. I would’ve liked more time to explore the little shops and side streets. Still, a nice break from Istanbul’s noise.

My friends and I had a blast biking around Büyükada. The lack of cars made it so relaxing, and the pine forests smelled amazing. The tour was well organized, and we had enough time for photos, snacks, and even a quick swim. One of the best parts of our Turkey trip!

I recommend you to drink soda when you come to the island after the ferry ride, it was really delicious, even though the hills were challenging, the bike ride was also nice, I recommend you go when you come to Istanbul.

Decent excursion but not exceptional. The best part was actually the ferry ride with Istanbul views. On the island, the "famous" Monastery was underwhelming after the strenuous climb. Might be better to explore independently.

Coming from Dubai's fast pace, this tranquil island was exactly what I needed. No cars, just the clip clop of horse carriages and birds singing. I spent hours reading at a seaside café and exploring hidden garden paths. The tour struck the perfect balance between guidance and free time.

Beautiful scenery but too sedate for my taste. Wished there were hiking trail options beyond the basic bike paths. The electric vehicle portion felt like a retirement home outing. Probably better for older travelers.

Once we arrived, the island felt like a different world no cars, just bikes and electric vehicles, which made it so relaxing. We were a group of four friends visiting Istanbul and wanted a break from the city chaos. The ferry ride was smooth, and the island itself was beautiful full of greenery and old world charm. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the tour didn’t include bike rentals (we had to arrange that ourselves), and the return ferry felt a bit rushed.

We took our two young children on this excursion and it was exactly what we needed. The ferry ride was smooth and enjoyable the kids loved watching the seagulls follow the boat. Once on Büyükada, we rented a family bike and spent hours exploring at our own pace. The climb to St. George's Monastery was a bit challenging with little ones, but the views made it worthwhile. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing day outside Istanbul.

As a solo traveler, I found this excursion to be just okay. The ferry ride was nice, and the island is undeniably pretty with its Victorian houses and flower gardens. Instead, I wandered aimlessly for hours. It's a peaceful place, but I wouldn't do it again unless it included more structured activities.
