To get the evening off to a good start, you can visit a Turkish restaurant in the narrow streets of the centre of Bodrum to enjoy typical Turkish dishes such as Adana Kebab or Kofte. Street musicians provide a relaxed atmosphere. The port of Bodrum is also known for its good restaurants.

Going out in Bodrum

In Bodrum you will find many bars and cafes where you can spend a pleasant evening. Long Street, also called Bar Street, is the heart of the city’s nightlife. This street is located in the east of the town and here you will find many bars and pubs.

Nightclubs in Bodrum

If you want to dance the night away, you can go to one of Bodrum’s clubs. Besides dancing to top music you will also witness impressive laser shows and spectacular dance acts. Another special entertainment venue is Marine Club Catamaran. The club, which is partly on a boat and partly on land, is for many the highlight of a holiday in Bodrum. Catamaran has a glass dance floor, which makes it look like you are dancing on the water. The boat leaves around midnight for open water, where the party continues. If you want to leave earlier or arrive later, you can use shuttle boats to or from the party.

Nightlife in Gümbet

Gümbet is known for its excellent nightlife. This takes place particularly on Ayaz Cadessi, or Bar Street, where a very large number of bars have established themselves. Many bars have an outdoor area. Especially in the summer months the temperature at night remains very high, and partying in the open air is a popular choice. Because there is a lot of competition, the prices of drinks remain relatively low and many bars have promotional activities, such as a free welcome drink and happy hours in the early evening. A number of popular bars/clubs in Gümbet are Xbar, Mystery Disco, Shakers and Central Bar.
