My wife and I are big foodies, so when we visited Istanbul, we knew we had to book this culinary tour. We started the day with an absolutely delicious traditional Turkish breakfast of fresh cheeses, honey, olives, and a cup of Turkish tea. Then, we boarded the ferry to the Asian side, which was a truly relaxing way to see the city from a different perspective. Kadıköy was a true gem. The food market was a labyrinth of vibrant colors and incredible aromas. We tried lahmacun, manti, and gözleme. They were all authentic and mouthwatering. The desserts at the end, especially baklava and Turkish delight, were the perfect ending.

My sister and I decided to try this food tour to explore Istanbul beyond the typical sightseeing, and we had a wonderful time. The Turkish breakfast on the European side was a great introduction to the local flavors. Once in Kadıköy, the food stops were fantastic. Our guide was friendly and shared some really interesting information about Turkish food culture. The only reason I gave this tour 4 stars instead of 5 was because I wanted to spend a little more time in the markets in Kadıköy. They were crowded and lively, but we only had a short time to explore. Still, it was an unforgettable experience and a unique way to see the city.
