Even though our hotel in the Alanya area wasn’t listed as a pickup location, the organizer had no issue collecting us right at our hotel’s entrance. Be sure to carry cash, as card payments are not accepted in many places, such as for the balloon video or the entrance fee to Pamukkale. I was really looking forward to this day trip, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The pickup was brutal, and we then spent nearly five hours cramped in a poorly ventilated bus just to reach Pamukkale. Once there, we only had about 30 minutes on the travertine terraces before being rushed off to lunch. Speaking of lunch—it was a lukewarm buffet with very limited choices, and drinks cost extra. The guide seemed indifferent, offering only the most basic facts and barely acknowledging any questions.The drive back dragged on, and by the time we arrived at our hotel, I felt like I’d wasted an entire day. For what they charge, I expected far better organization, genuine insights, and more time to actually enjoy the sights. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.
