Visiting the stunning waterfalls is definitely a must do experience. Our guide made the bus rides enjoyable by sharing plenty of fascinating and informative details throughout the day. The included meals were decent, but be aware that beverages come at a high price. On the downside, the unexpected stops to push jewelry, clothing, and numerous thrift shops were quite off putting. It’s disappointing there wasn’t a guided walk through the old town, which would have been far more engaging than dealing with endless sellers of counterfeit goods.

Our guide was Abdul Qadir, and he was both knowledgeable and extremely supportive. We traveled with two young children, and both the guide and the bus driver were incredibly accommodating. The tour itself was enjoyable. However, the music on the boat was quite loud, which seemed to be especially overwhelming for the kids. Fortunately, our guide requested the volume be turned down on one of the decks. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

However, the trip felt quite rushed, as there was limited time at each stop and much of the time was spent walking to and from locations, leaving little opportunity to relax or explore fully. The steps in the old town were especially tiring because of the heat and the length of the climb, so be sure to prepare accordingly. Lunch was decent, though it did take quite a while for our food to be served.
