Antalya Cappadocia 2-Day Tour With Cave Hotel & Balloon Tour

I had an incredible time in Cappadocia. Although the journey was long, there were plenty of stops, sights, and informative moments along the way. Our guide was very friendly and supportive, making the experience feel like a trip with family. I made many new friends and created memories that will last a lifetime.

The trip was enjoyable, though a bit lengthy around 5 to 6 hours from Antalya but the bus was comfortable and air conditioned. The 3 star hotel was pleasant, with polite and welcoming hosts, and the food was quite good. The horse ride offered fantastic views and a close up experience with the balloons. There were several complimentary activities included in the booking as well. The tour included about four free stops where we could explore, plus two lunches that were not included in the price. We also saw caves and learned about local cultural traditions from the host. Additional activities like ATV rides, jeep safaris, horse riding, and balloon rides came at an extra cost. I chose the horse riding, which lasted over two hours and was well organized.

I'd long wanted to visit Cappadocia and take a hot air balloon ride. This trip was a perfect fit for both. We were picked up promptly by a small bus and then transferred to another bus. The bus was well air conditioned and comfortable, and our guide was friendly and did his best to help us. However, the journey was very long.

The trip was a bit tiring since we started from Alanya and hadn’t been on a guided tour for a long time. We usually prefer a slower pace and like to take our time at each place, but this experience was definitely worth it. You get to experience all the iconic highlights of Cappadocia underground cities, caves, fairy chimneys, and stunning valleys. The cave hotel accommodations are charming and comfortable. The breakfast and lunch spots are interesting and add to the overall experience.Since Cappadocia is quite a distance from Antalya, a large part of your days is spent traveling back and forth. Ideally, adding an extra day would allow a fuller experience. The minibus air conditioning could be stronger, but it’s manageable. Also, balloon rides are weather dependent, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get to fly.

We are a small family from India and did the 2 day Cappadocia tour with Excursion Mania, Antalya. Our guide Murad and planner Ceylin made it an amazing experience. The hot air balloon ride at sunrise was unforgettable. On the way back, we visited caves, the underground city, and a pottery factory.

Excellent trip! Our guides, Rashad and Murat, were kind, fun, and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the local culture and history. Even our 10 and 6 year old boys had a great time.
