We took our two kids on this tour and it was such a memorable day. The boat ride was calm and safe, which made it easy to just sit back and take in the scenery. Our children were fascinated by the stilt houses in Kampong Phluk and kept asking questions about how people live above the water. The guide was wonderful, explaining not only the history of the village but also about the lake’s ecosystem in a way the kids could understand. The sunset at the end was the perfect family photo moment.

I joined this tour on my own and I’m really glad I did. The floating village was unlike anything I’d seen before, and it was interesting to watch how daily life revolves around the water. What stood out most was the peacefulness of Tonle Sap as the boat glided through the mangroves. The sunset felt almost meditative—just golden light on calm waters. It was a simple but unforgettable experience, and being solo made it even more reflective.

I came with three friends, and we all agreed this was one of the highlights of our Siem Reap trip. The countryside drive was relaxing, and the moment we got onto the wooden boat, it felt like stepping into another world. Kampong Phluk was fascinating—we loved taking photos of the stilted houses and watching the fishermen at work. The sunset cruise was just stunning. We had snacks on board, shared stories, and just enjoyed the calm atmosphere together.

The floating village was interesting to see and definitely gave us a sense of the local way of life, but we felt the tour could have been a little longer. The boat ride was beautiful, and our guide gave lots of insights into how families adapt to the lake’s changing water levels. The sunset was gorgeous, but because of clouds, it wasn’t quite as dramatic as we had hoped. Still, overall it was worth it and gave us a unique look at Cambodian culture.

Traveling with my elderly parents, I appreciated how relaxed and comfortable this tour was. The boat had plenty of space, and the pace was gentle enough for everyone. My parents enjoyed seeing the stilt houses and learning about the villagers’ lives, while I loved the quiet beauty of the mangroves. The guide shared thoughtful stories that made the experience more personal. The sunset over Tonle Sap was the perfect ending, calm and peaceful without feeling rushed.

This tour gave me exactly what I was looking for—time away from the crowds, somewhere peaceful but meaningful. Kampong Phluk showed me how resourceful the local communities are, building homes high above the water and living so closely with nature. The boat ride through the mangroves was soothing, almost like gliding through another world. The sunset was soft and golden, and I was happy just sitting there, breathing it all in.

My partner and I loved this tour because it felt authentic rather than touristy. The drive out to the lake showed us rural Cambodia, which already set the tone. On the water, the guide explained how the villagers adapt depending on the season, which was fascinating. We especially enjoyed the floating village—it felt like stepping into a different rhythm of life. The sunset cruise was quiet, romantic, and a beautiful way to end the day.

We joined this as a group of four friends and had such a good time. The boat ride was smooth, and we were all amazed at how people live on the water. Seeing children rowing small boats to school and fishermen casting their nets was something we’d only read about before. The mangrove forest was very scenic and gave us lots of great photos. By the time the sun set, the whole lake looked golden. We just sat quietly, appreciating the view—it was one of those travel moments you don’t forget.

We joined as a family of three, and this was such a peaceful way to explore outside the city. Our teenage son was intrigued by how the stilt houses were built and asked the guide many questions, which he answered patiently. I liked the slow boat ride through the mangroves—it gave us time to notice the details, like birds and small fishing boats. The sunset was breathtaking, and even my usually restless son sat still to watch. It was a very special family memory.
