First off, I have to say Elmir was a fantastic guide. He picked us up and we got started, but sadly we hit quite a bit of traffic. Because of that, most of the 14-hour tour ended up being spent in the car. Apart from around an hour for dinner at 7 PM and maybe two hours actually visiting the sites, the rest was driving. That said, we still had a fun day thanks to Elmir keeping things interesting during the ride. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning, and Mostar is just beautiful. The castle stop, in my opinion, wasn’t really necessary and didn’t offer much. Elmir did his best to make the day great, and it showed. This tour is probably best for people who don’t have much time in Sarajevo and want a quick glimpse of these other places. It honestly felt more like hiring a private car and driver to take us for a brief stop at each site. If you’re doing a private tour or end up the only one booked, I’d suggest skipping the castle and sticking to the Dervish House, Mostar, and the waterfalls. That way you’d have more time to actually enjoy each location.

The tour was really good overall. The waterfall stood out the most for me, definitely a must-see. Our guide was very involved throughout, shared lots of interesting stories, and made an effort to explain things in a way that fit our language level. The route was well planned and took us to a nice mix of beautiful places. The driver did a great job too, drove calmly and smoothly, which made the whole ride more relaxing. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it.
