A laid-back tour through the historic part of the city, featuring a few traditional Bosnian sweet and savory bites, a genuine coffee-making experience, rich historical context, and chances to pick up fresh produce or souvenirs at the market. Azur was incredibly knowledgeable and had a response to nearly every question. Everyone we encountered was very welcoming. A great way to explore Sarajevo in just a few hours.

I really enjoyed the tour. It was just me and another traveler, but the guide shared lots of interesting stories about local life. The relaxed style suited me well. He was funny and attentive, giving us space but also joining for food and coffee. We tried local coffee, burek, and a sweet pastry.

I joined the food and coffee tour with Azur and really enjoyed it. Since I was the only participant, it felt more like exploring with a local friend. Azur knows a lot about Sarajevo’s history, culture, and food traditions. The places we visited were authentic and tasty—definitely spots I wouldn’t have found alone. Even on my third day in the city, the tour gave me a fresh perspective. Great mix of food, coffee, and stories. Highly recommend it.

Azur was extremely flexible and attentive to our pace and preferences. Since it was just the three of us, including our toddler, he provided a very personalized experience. While the tour was enjoyable, it might have been even more engaging with a larger group, as different questions and viewpoints add to the experience. Maybe in the future, solo tours like ours could be merged with upcoming group tours to create a richer outing.

This was a wonderful tour of Sarajevo’s Old Town with a small group. Our guide, Azur, was friendly and knowledgeable throughout. The food was excellent, though as a small suggestion, it might be better to have the baklava after the savory dishes. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon filled with history, good company, coffee, and tasty food.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our group was small, which made the visits to the market hall, bakeries, and café especially enjoyable. We had engaging conversations about both Sarajevo’s history and its current life. To finish, Almir took us to his favorite viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the city.

The tour started a bit off due to a late timing update, but the guide apologized. He was friendly and enthusiastic, and I appreciated the bakery tip. However, the tour focused more on local history than food, which wasn’t clear in the description. As the only participant, it felt quite different, and the tour ended earlier than expected. It would be helpful if solo guests were informed in advance. Overall, it was enjoyable but not quite what I expected.

I had the pleasure of joining the tour with Suad, and it was very informative. I’d done a free walking tour the previous day, but Suad’s tour offered even more detail and context. I’d recommend choosing this tour from the start, as it also includes a great introduction to Bosnian cuisine. We got to try burek from a local bakery, traditional Bosnian coffee, and baklava—all included as part of the tour.
