Our English speaking driver was punctual and pleasant when collecting us from the hotel. Upon arrival at the salt mine, we experienced a 45 minute wait before entry began, which ultimately meant we missed seeing the museum due to time constraints. The return transfer departed as scheduled. While we had booked what was described as a small group tour, we were surprised to find ourselves in a group of about 30 visitors. Staff explained this was due to high demand that day.

I was disappointed to find significantly more people in our group than what we had specifically paid for when you book and pay extra for a small group experience, you don't expect the numbers to double. That said, the overall outing was enjoyable. Potential visitors should note the tour involves extensive walking. Another point to be aware of is that in the larger chambers, groups tend to merge together, making it easy to accidentally lose your own group when they move to the next area.
