I had some doubts about this tour at first, especially after the Salda Lake portion was cancelled due to low demand. Plus, I’d read a lot of online reviews saying Pamukkale was dried out, overcrowded, or not worth it anymore. But the day turned out to be absolutely amazing! Pamukkale is still stunning, and the ancient city of Hierapolis is incredibly interesting. It’s true that some of the travertines have dried up, but there are still many with water, and if you’re a bit patient, they aren’t overly crowded. The tour itself was very well organised, everything went smoothly, and the transport was comfortable. Lunch was really nice too. A big thank you to our guide he was so kind, knowledgeable, and kept everyone engaged and in good spirits all day. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

The trip was very well organised. I enjoyed the excursion overall. The only downside was the lunch the quality could have been better and drinks weren’t included. There was enough time during the trip, but I think less time could have been spent at the lake since no one went swimming, and more time would’ve been nice at Pamukkale. Overall, I was happy with the experience. Thanks to the whole team!

We had an enjoyable day, and the guide was very friendly. The bus arrived on time at 5:20 a.m., but unfortunately, we spent two hours picking up other passengers from their hotels. We finally left Antalya around 7:30 a.m. Breakfast was quite basic. Lunch was very good, but served quite late at 4:30 p.m. Lake Salda is truly impressive and not overcrowded. We only had 45 minutes there, which felt too short. Pamukkale was very busy, making it hard to fully enjoy. To find fewer people, you need to walk all the way down. Shoes aren’t allowed, and the surfaces can be slippery, so be cautious. Cleopatra’s Pool was also crowded, and the water was very warm, which I didn’t particularly like. The Hierapolis site is beautiful, and small electric carts are available to take you around, which is helpful in the heat. Entrance fees for Pamukkale and Cleopatra’s Pool were 30€. The total cost for the day was 63€, excluding drinks and extras. I wanted to visit this site, so no regrets despite some inconveniences.

We were collected in the morning by a private transfer and then taken to a bus and that part was a nightmare. The driver was reckless, driving over anything in his path at full speed. It was honestly frightening and felt very unsafe. That said, the tour itself was excellent. Our guide was enthusiastic and made the experience enjoyable. The highlight for me was definitely Lake Salda.

We had an excellent day with our guide was fantastic, and the driver who drove smoothly without any bumps the bus was very comfortable. Everything was very well organized, which we appreciated as frequent travelers. The pick up from our hotel and the return went without a hitch. In just one day, we were amazed by the stunning natural lake in the morning, accompanied by an intriguing historical background. In the afternoon, we explored Pamukkale and its treasures, including the museum, amphitheater, and Cleopatra’s baths. The day was nicely balanced with lunch and dinner stops at local shops. We also stopped at a place selling onyx items, a stone found in only a few countries. The tour was a great mix of guided commentary and free time. While it’s not an in depth cultural immersion, it covers some beautiful and historic must see spots. This format was perfect for us, as we had only a week and wanted to see as much as possible.
