The tour was very well organized. Lunch was provided on the way back to the hotel, which was a great addition. During the journey there and back, we had a couple of stops where we could use the restroom, have breakfast, and do some shopping. This made the long drive much more comfortable. The bus driver was excellent, and no one experienced headaches or discomfort from the ride. Our guide did a great job sharing information about the history of the site and giving clear instructions on how to make the most of our visit and be on time for the meeting points. He communicated well and took good care of everyone. I’m very happy with this experience it was definitely worth the price I paid.

The trip started with a four hour transfer, which included stops to pick up passengers and board an air conditioned coach. Bottled water was available to buy if you wanted. To be fair, this excursion is something to do once, but probably not more than that. It turned out to be quite a hassle, as the planned entries weren’t clearly handled. Once on the bus, we were informed about different ticket options either just entry to Pamukkale or adding Cleopatra’s swimming pool as well. There were several stops: breakfast, a visit to Salda Golu Lake (which was stunning), and lunch at a roadside canteen. During lunch, the guide asked us to pay for entrance fees. Then there was a problem with the card machine for everyone, which caused a lot of confusion. The guide even offered to use the restaurant’s payment device to sort it out. No one really understood what was happening, especially since many families had already paid for their tickets. I hadn’t realized when booking that the entries were additional. It was a very stressful moment, and we were all left waiting, unsure about what was going on. When we returned to the meeting point, the guide hurried us along, leaving no time for photos during the short walk to Pamukkale. We had exactly two hours at the site to explore on our own. I would recommend the Cleopatra Baths the water is warm and safe to drink. Lockers are available to store your belongings. Overall, it’s worth visiting at least once, but I’d suggest booking the full package upfront to avoid complications.

I would recommend this tour as it was very well planned and executed precisely on schedule. For us, though, the time allotted in Pamukkale felt a bit too short.

Thanks to the entire organizing team for the excursion. Pamukkale is definitely a place everyone should visit at least once. The long journey can be tiring, but in the end, the beauty of the area makes up for the fatigue and any inconvenience. Be sure to bring swimwear if you want to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, as well as a towel this isn’t often mentioned, but it’s essential. You get about three hours to explore Pamukkale, which includes visiting the ancient theater, the travertines, the museum, walking around the site, and swimming in the pool. This amount of time is sufficient if you manage it well.
