Kas is home to some of Turkey’s best adventure sports locations. One of the best of the best is of course Kas Paragliding. Glide through the sky above the rugged coastline, gently swoop down over fields full of goats and even spot eagles flying alongside you. This is not just an adventure but also a fantastic way to get the view that no one else can get. Our team of paragliding experts will take you safely through the whole experience and land you back to earth in this one of a kind, way to travel.
We’ll collect you from your hotel and take you on the short 20-minute drive out of Kas to our take off site. As soon as you arrive at the site all of your nerves will be calmed as you meet our professional instructors and pilots who will be in charge of your safety. It’s good to know that many of the pilots trained in the Turkish army so they never leave anything to chance. We’ll have a short safety demonstration and you will be fitted with helmets. Children must weigh 30kg to take part and no one over 100kg is allowed to fly. Not only is it possible to take a tandem flight with our pilots but you can also take a 3-person flight. A great opportunity if you have a child who is desperate to fly like an eagle.
From 600 metres above Kas your flight will lift you into the thermals and slowly lower you back down to earth. The flight itself takes about 25 minutes and you will have unrivalled views of the local area. It’s possible for the pilot to take you swooping low over the fields full of mountain goats and you’ll enjoy an awesome view of the old town. The island of Meis in the distance provides a stunning backdrop and your glide over the shore, lower and lower.
The experience is of course weather dependent but usually in the summer months it is possible to do nearly 10 flights per day. Following our flight and once you have got your land legs back our driver will be on hand to drive you back to Kas. This really is an experience you won’t forget. The best part about it, is that there is no experience needed. All you need is a sense of adventure. We will take care of the rest.

Your flight of fancy begins when our driver will come and collect you from your hotel. You’ll be taken on the short drive 600 meters above Kas in the local mountains. The drive takes roughly 20 minutes.
Safety and Equipment: All safety equipment will be issued to you upon arrival at the take off sight. Our fully trained pilots will be on hand to take you though all of the safety rules and regulations. They will also give you expert advise and tips of how to get the best out of the experience. Children must weigh over 30kg and adults must weigh under 100kg. It is possible to do a 3 person flight if you would prefer. Remember, no experience is necessary here. We often take out first time paragliders and often we see them come back for more.
All of our pilots have completed strict training and many of them were in the Turkish army so you can be assured that your safety is our number one priority. They will fly you down to earth whilst also pointing out different local sights and things to see.
The Flight: Each flight takes between 20 and 30 minutes depending on the winds. You’ll take off from our take off sight which is 2,000 feet above Kas. The size and unique location of these hills make them a perfect spot for paragliding. Swooping over the fields you’ll be able to see local farmers going about their business. Keep an eye out for some wildlife you might be sharing the sky with such as eagles and other birds of prey. The island of Meis can be viewed during the flight as can the old town of Kas. The shoreline is such a beautiful site even from the ground, but from up here it’s something else. We guarantee you that not many of your friends will have had this view so enjoy it and take it all in. As you glide down to earth your pilot will take you through the sites and let you know when to prepare for landing.
What to Bring: Make sure you are dressed comfortably. All of your safety equipment is provided by us. We recommend you put on sun cream before hand as the sun can be strong up there. Please do not wear slip on shoes or sandals as these are not allowed.
