Izmir Balloon Tour is organized regularly through all year long. Excursion Mania is running these regular balloon flights at Pamukkale through year in good weather conditions.
You can join this tour from Izmir as well, we will transfer you from Izmir to Pamukkale with VIP Mercedes minibuses (Mercedes Vito – 6 Seats). The drive from Izmir to Pamukkale takes around 3 hours. We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning (around 02:00 in the morning) to be at Pamukkale before the sunrise. The price for this transfer is 250 €. This is the price that we will charge for the vehicle. Even you are a single person or six people the price will be the same.
Upon your arrival, our crew will welcome you and take you to the flight take off point, just outside Pamukkale. You will watch our crew preparing the balloons and take as many pictures as you as you like.
The Hot Air Balloon flight will take around 1 hour and you will witness the beautiful sceneries of Pamukkale and the remains of the ancient city of Hierapolis. Pick up Service: We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning to make sure we arrive at the launching spot 1 hour before sunrise. Our Mercedes Vito minibuses are fully air-conditioned and very comfortable. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before your flight. We have a free wake-up call service 1 hour prior to the determined pick-up time. You can also request an early call if you need more time in the morning to get ready.
Take-Off & Flight: We will meet at the reception for a short briefing about the flight and then travel to the launch spot. Discover how we get these huge balloons up in the air by helping with the preparation of launching the hot air balloon. So roll up your sleeves or sit back and enjoy watching how our team fires up the balloon.Then it’s time to climb into the basket and listen to the instructions from the pilot and ground crew. They will inform you about safety and what to expect throughout the flight and landing. The exact duration of the flight depends on the weather and wind conditions but you will fly for about an hour over the gorgeous hot springs and amazing landscape.
Landing and Champaign: Your pilot will let you know when it’s time to land so that you know to get ready for the landing positions. The pilot will land the balloon safely on the ground with an occasional gentle bump. After the landing, our team will pack up the balloon and serve you a glass of champaign to celebrate. You will receive a well-deserved certificate of your hot air ballooning in Pamuhkale.
Free Time: After our exciting balloon ride, if you like you will have a few hours of free time in Pamukkale to explore the area which you’ve just seen from the air or we can drive you straight back to your hotel in Izmir.
Done this last week with my family. Book the tour and the transfers online. Simple website, user friendly, and the reservation process was easy. No complaints at all, except from the very early wake up call 😊 But, it was worthy!!! What we all felt up there was unthinkable!!! It was our first time in a balloon, and we were all so excited about it. The most iconic moment was, of course, the sunrise. Such a romantic time!! My husband surprised me with a balloon flight. He knew that I wanted to experience this in my life, and made it happen!! The flight is actually very smooth, I wasn’t expecting to be like that. From up there we saw every single site in Pamukkale. The cotton castle looked gorgeous! The whole flight was so romantic, and we made some precious memories on that day. When we landed, we got a glass of champagne and had some fun with the pilots. Excellent!! I recommend this to all!
