Your tour will start early in the morning – (We have to leave early to arrive in Cappadocia on time). Since we are leaving Antalya while it is still dark outside, you can take a nap while the bus travels a few hundred kilometers towards central Turkey. Waking up, you will no longer see the sea coast – real space reliefs will spread before your eyes, which have no analogues in the whole wide world. You are in Cappadocia!
Continuing to travel around Cappadocia, you will meet Caravanserai on the way, which used to host travelers and artisans who brought their goods for sale. But still your journey lies towards the dungeons. The underground cities of Cappadocia are a completely unique feature of the region, which is actively explored to this day. Saratli was discovered in the 80s of the last century and today its excavations are still ongoing. The city goes deep underground – it has several levels, and the premises in it are divided into residential and domestic. Only having been at a depth do you begin to appreciate the sunlight so much. How did people manage to be without light for so long – one can only guess!
The second day of our trip will be entirely devoted to the valleys of Cappadocia. You can let your imagination run wild in the Devrent Valley, and wander between the pillars of the Monk Valley. The panorama of Göreme will spread before your eyes in all its charm – here is the hidden heart of Cappadocia, which you have to find. The valley of pigeons will allow you to admire the empty houses of Uchisar, and the fortress itself will enchant you with impregnable vaults, which many have not managed to conquer. It was an amazing adventure. We were picked up early and driven to Cappadocia, where we explored the Saratli Underground City, Uchisar Castle, and Cavusin village. The hot air balloon ride at sunrise on the second day was a highlight, offering incredible views of the unique landscape. Staying in a cave hotel was a unique and enjoyable experience, with excellent facilities and comfortable rooms. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the tour engaging and informative.
