Cappadocia: Sunrise Balloon Watching Tour

My partner and I loved every second of this experience. Watching the balloons being prepped and lifted into the sky right in front of us was just magical. The viewpoint they took us to afterward gave us the best panoramic view I got some of the best photos of our trip. It felt peaceful and surreal.

I was traveling solo and booked this last minute. Everything went smoothly pickup was punctual, and we had two solid stops. The second one was perfect for wide-angle shots of the balloons. It’s a simple trip, no guide talking your ear off, which I appreciated. Light breakfast and coffee were offered too.

We saw the balloons launching up close, had a short break with a light breakfast, and then drove to a scenic overlook where we could enjoy the view in peace. Everything was really smooth on the tour itself pickup was right on time, we got a croissant and juice, and the balloon launch site was amazing. The only downside was waiting on some other guests who were running late, which cut into our time a bit. Still, for the price, it’s totally worth it. The photo spots after were beautiful, especially the valley.

I was really happy with this tour. Pickup was right on time, and the minibus was clean and spacious. We spent a good amount of time at the balloon launch site, which was amazing to witness up close. Then we drove to a great viewing spot and stayed there long enough to enjoy the scenery without being rushed. The chocolate croissant and water were a nice surprise. Super smooth experience!

We woke up super early but it was so worth it. Hasan picked us up at 3:45, and the whole trip was perfectly organized. Seeing the balloons take shape at dawn was fascinating, and Rose Valley was the perfect spot to watch them float in the morning light. The quiet beauty and colors of the balloons against the sunrise were magical. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Pickup from our hotel was smooth and easy. Seeing the balloons inflate up close was fascinating, and breakfast was simple but tasty a croissant and juice. The 90 minutes at the viewpoint before sunrise gave us plenty of time to soak in the breathtaking views and take photos. It was a bit crowded with other tours, but that’s to be expected. There are some extra activities at the viewpoint like photographers and 360 cameras, but they’re optional. Highly recommend this for anyone staying in Cappadocia for a couple of nights!
