Antalya Scuba Diving Experience Lunch, 2 Dives & Pickup

You're taken to a remote harbour and from that point on, there's a clear emphasis on upselling extra services none of which come cheap. The boat trip itself felt a bit disorganized, with not much structure or communication throughout the day. It gave the impression that the main goal was to maximize sales rather than offer a smooth experience. On the positive side, the transfer to and from the hotel was reliable and punctual, which I appreciated. Overall, it's an average experience not terrible but not something I’d book again.

If I were rating just the diving instructors and the underwater experience, it would easily be five stars. The instructors were fantastic very patient, professional and great with beginners. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by how poorly the operation was run. Although two dives were advertised, we only had one. When the entire group questioned this, we received no clear explanation. Meanwhile, two individuals (who kept to themselves) were given a second, deeper dive. It seemed like preferential treatment, and the rest of us spent 45 minutes on the boat with no communication about what was happening. The situation worsened when we returned to shore. Many of us were happy to line up and pay for photos from the dive, but one person tried taking a photo of the preview images. While this wasn’t the right move, they apologized and deleted the image. However, the man running the tour reacted by deleting all the photos for the entire group, so none of us could purchase our own. When confronted about this, he became aggressive and unprofessional, using foul language and telling everyone off. To make things worse, we were then left waiting at the dock, with no bus in sight, while the staff made sure all payments were finalized. Only once everything was settled did the bus suddenly arrive. If there’s any way to recover the photos and allow people to buy them, it would be a decent gesture. As things stand, though, I personally wouldn’t book again, despite how good the diving instructors were.

The scuba instructors truly deserve praise they were patient, informative, and made us feel safe throughout the dive. On their own, I’d rate them five stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was shockingly poor. From start to finish, the tour was handled with complete unprofessionalism. The person in charge of the operation behaved in an incredibly immature and aggressive manner. Just before we boarded, he verbally insulted one of the guests and even made obscene gestures. After the trip, when we wanted to purchase our underwater photos, he flat out refused and claimed he had deleted all of them out of spite his words, not mine. We were promised two dives, but only got one. When asked about it, we were told they had only been doing one dive for the past two weeks, and that our booking information was “wrong.” Meanwhile, two guests seemingly given special treatment were taken for a long, private second dive while the rest of us waited onboard with no explanation. Lunch was subpar: a small, overcooked burger and soggy chips. At the end of the tour, we weren’t even allowed to leave until everyone had made their payments despite some people being confused about what exactly they owed. The worst part? Our supposed return transfer turned out to be random cars flagged down on the street. Despite the dive instructors being excellent, this tour was a chaotic and deeply unpleasant experience. I strongly advise choosing another company if you’re considering diving in Antalya.

I’d rate the experience as average overall. We managed to do two dives but the boat was overcrowded which meant each person only got around 7 minutes underwater. Some instructors also seemed a bit impatient if you had trouble adjusting. The food served was quite basic. On the positive side, the views were beautiful and the equipment provided was in good condition. I’d recommend going during a less busy time if you want a better experience.

I completed my diving certification with and the training was excellent. I spent the day on the boat with my mom, who didn’t dive, but still had a great time relaxing onboard. The food was good and I had two dives which I truly enjoyed. The transfer service was punctual and everything ran smoothly. Overall, a perfect day I definitely recommend it!

We had an excellent time from beginning to end. He was very responsive, spoke great English and made everything easy.We were picked up directly from our hotel and taken to a spacious boat with plenty of sunbeds as well as shaded spots to relax. The water was warm and crystal clear. The staff on board were all very friendly and helpful. We even got a great underwater video feeding the fish.Lunch was simple burger and chips which felt very familiar and satisfying. For those who didn’t want to scuba dive, there were free snorkels and fins available and you could swim freely without time restrictions.I’d definitely recommend getting the diving certification offered on the tour it's internationally recognized and perfect for anyone who travels.All in all, a brilliant experience. The scuba diving experience was disappointing and fell short in several areas. The instructions provided for the procedures weren’t always clear which made parts of the experience confusing. The toilet facilities were quite poor and not well maintained. Lunch was very basic just a burger and chips which could have been much better. The location itself was underwhelming, with only a few fish and some rocks in sight. It didn’t come close to something like the coral reefs in Egypt. We were also under the impression that we’d visit two different sites but ended up diving in the same spot twice. We faced a delay of nearly 30 minutes just getting to the excursion. The return transfer was even worse we waited around 1.5 hours and had to get on a large bus instead of the mini bus that originally brought us. Our belongings, including a pillow, were left behind in the first mini bus because we were told it was safe to leave them there. At the end, we were pressured to leave a 5 star review in front of the staff, which made us feel uncomfortable and was completely inappropriate. Overall, the trip was very poorly organized. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The whole experience went smoothly from start to finish including hotel pickup and drop off. We were picked up around 9 a.m. and traveled by private coach for about an hour and a half to reach the harbor. From there, a yacht took us to the diving location. After the dives, we were served a small burger with fries, which was a nice touch. The instructors also promoted an optional PADI certification. Those who opted in were taken for additional dives and received extra training. The rest of us joined them on the boat to enjoy the scenery. The diving site itself was impressive in terms of location, but the underwater views weren’t particularly special. There were mainly black and white fish and some brown coral not the most vibrant marine life.

I had a great experience scuba diving with the team at Excursionmania. This was my first time trying it, and even though I can't swim, the instructors were very supportive. They took each person individually for the dive, which made it feel safe and manageable. The pricing was reasonable, and overall, I felt it was well worth the money. The only downside was the cost of the photos and videos they were quite expensive. I’d recommend bringing your own waterproof camera like a GoPro if possible. Everything was well organized, especially considering the low cost. We were picked up in the morning from the agreed location and taken directly to the boat. The instructors were decent which was important since it was the first scuba diving experience for my wife and me. Lunch wasn’t great but it was included in the price. This was a really enjoyable trip. Even though I didn’t dive, I still had a great time relaxing on a fairly modern boat, enjoying the stunning views, sunbathing and watching others dive. I did expect we’d go further out into the sea but both dives took place in the same spot. The major downside was the lunch. The only option provided was a small meat burger in a bun with a few chips and some ketchup on the side. When I asked if there were any other options, the man in charge responded sarcastically, saying, “You’re not at a restaurant, people come here to dive, not eat.” I found that response rude and unnecessary. Also, a bottle of water and access to their Wi Fi were each priced, so it’s a good idea to bring your own drinks, snacks and a towel. Overall, it was a great day out, and I would still recommend the trip despite a few drawbacks.

I was on a girls’ holiday with my two daughters, aged 16 and 17, and we were looking for fun activities to do during the day. Since local prices were quite high, I searched online and quickly found a website. We were assisted by a staff member and I was genuinely impressed.
