The guides did their best to keep everyone on schedule and entertained, though a few moments felt a bit rushed. Our guide worked hard to answer questions and keep everyone engaged. I’d recommend this to families with children, as the water gun fight and zoo are fun, even if a few small things could be improved.

The trip offered good value for money. The guiding could have been a bit clearer regarding what to expect, timing, and the schedule. For instance, we stopped at a location where we were told there would be a quick restroom break, but we weren’t informed when we would regroup or what would happen next. More guidance and information from the start of the trip would have been appreciated.

The guidance could have been clearer about what to expect, the timing, and the overall program. For example, we took a quick restroom break, but weren't informed when everyone would meet or what the next activity would be. A little more information and guidance at the beginning would have made the experience smoother.

It was an enjoyable experience, but we personally found the day quite long, running from 8:00 a.m. until around 7:30 p.m. when we were dropped back at the hotel. Lunch wasn’t served until after the boat trip, around 3:00 p.m., which felt very late. We also didn’t think the lunch was particularly great, though that’s just our opinion. Many of the extra costs, like drinks, photos, and some food items, felt expensive for Turkey. Despite that, the tour was very enjoyable, especially the lions, the boat trip, and swimming in the Green Canyon.

The trip is called Lion Safari, but we only spent about an hour on the actual safari. Most of the day was spent riding in an open bus with loud music, so the name felt a bit misleading. Unfortunately, we weren’t prepared for the water fight—my son’s book got soaked in his backpack, and we ended up catching a cold.

The zoo itself wasn’t very impressive—it’s more about taking photos with animals like parrots, lion cubs, snakes, and riding camels or ponies. Each photo costs around 10 euros. Lunch was grilled meat with fries and vegetables in small portions, but it was tasty.

We took several breaks throughout the tour, some just for snacks or restroom breaks. We also took a short boat ride through the canyon and a quick swim; the water was cold but refreshing. Finally, we stopped at a sugar factory where Turkish honey and other sweets were made. The return journey was a circuitous one, without any water fights.

The guide, did a great job and made us laugh a lot. The trip was delayed throughout the day, so what was supposed to be 7.5 hours ended up lasting 10.5 hours, likely due to some unnecessary and longer stops. Bringing your own water guns can save the extra 7-euro charge. The zoo, where you can take photos with lion cubs, was very upsetting—dirty, small cages, little greenery or stimulation, and some of the animals looked mangy. It was one of the saddest zoo experiences I've seen, and I even found myself crying at one point. On the positive side, swimming in the cool fresh water at Green Lake was lovely.

To join the water fights, you need to buy a water pistol for €7. At the mini zoo, photos cost extra—€10 per person for a photo with the lion cubs, and also charges for camels and small monkeys. Drinks at mealtimes are also extra, around €3 for a soft drink. The boat trip was enjoyable, with about 20–30 minutes for swimming. I recommend the excursion, but make sure to bring some extra cash.

The trip was a unique and memorable experience! The lions were fascinating, and seeing the cubs up close was definitely a highlight. The mountain views and the clear water were stunning, and swimming there was really enjoyable. While the bus ride was long, the guide did their best to keep everyone informed and entertained, making the journey part of the adventure. Overall, it was a remarkable day with incredible scenery and memorable wildlife encounters!

Some of the staff were very professional. The drive and boat ride were lovely, and the water fight was wild in a fun way—it kept us cool. One area for improvement is that some staff made me feel uncomfortable by trying to get my number, even with their families present, which happened twice—once with the larger coach driver and once on the boat. As a solo female traveler, this was unsettling. Apart from that, a big thank you to the rest of the staff!
