Antalya/Kemer: Scuba Diving Experience with Lunch & Pick up

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations. Even though I’m certified in open water scuba diving, the tour ended up being a basic discovery or trial dive something that wasn’t clearly stated at the time of booking. The pickup was 30 minutes late and by 11:40 a.m., we were still docked at the port. The trip felt poorly organized with long stretches of inactivity and general confusion on board. I paid an additional $30 for a second, supposedly longer dive, but the first dive itself was only 30 minutes half of which was spent watching the instructor try to detach an octopus from a rock. By 2 p.m., we hadn’t even left the area properly, still lingering just 200 meters from the port. I asked to be dropped off early and was refunded for the second dive. The lack of communication and ongoing arguments between the captain and a female crew member made the situation even more uncomfortable.

My first diving experience was fun overall. I was a bit nervous at first since the equipment wasn’t set up correctly during my initial attempt but thankfully I was able to communicate with my instructor which made a big difference. Aside from that, everything went well and I successfully completed my first test toward getting licensed as a professional diver.

This was a very unsafe diving experience and deeply concerning from start to finish. They allow anyone over the age of 14 to attempt a discovery dive to 5 meters with barely any instruction or supervision. During our trip, I witnessed several people being given gear and told to jump into deep water without proper preparation some ended up in full blown panic. One woman was so distressed that she thrashed in the water for some time before anyone could assist her. As someone doing open water diving to 20 meters, the so called “briefing” lasted less than a minute. We were simply told to hold our partner’s hand and resurface if we got separated completely inadequate for safety. The gear was pre assembled for us, and I was pressured to check it quickly. When I noticed air leaking from my tank, the instructor dismissed it as “minimal” and told me not to worry. I was also not given a depth gauge and my BCD had no proper clip for the secondary regulator. Because I’m certified in the U.S., I asked for help converting my weight into kilograms and was advised to use 10 kg which I later found out was far too much for someone my size (70 kg). I made the mistake of going through with the dive despite my doubts. They told me my tank was full at 150 BAR, but I soon found myself descending too quickly due to excess weight and gear issues. Even with my BCD fully inflated, I was still sinking. My instructor tried to adjust the weight, and eventually, the dive captain stepped in and ended the dive. Thankfully he did, because I surfaced with only 25 BAR left after just a few minutes underwater due to the air leak. We also skipped the required safety stop during ascent, which left me with a significant headache. This entire experience felt disorganized and unsafe. I would not recommend this dive operation under any circumstances.

This was the highlight of our holiday. We were picked up right on time. The entire team was friendly and helpful throughout the day. Before the dive, everything was clearly explained, and the staff made sure everyone understood the safety procedures. Our instructor spoke perfect German, was extremely knowledgeable and also incredibly friendly one of the most likeable people I’ve met. Highly recommended!

I paid in cash once on the boat but there was also an option to pay online the day before everything was legitimate. Just remember to bring your own towel, as they don't provide one. The driver picked me up right on time from the hotel entrance. The instructors were attentive and took good care of everyone. The food on board was simple but tasty. They also offer underwater photos and videos you can purchase if you wish. The boat itself was nice and had two bathrooms. Overall, a solid team. Cheers!

I came on this trip hoping to overcome my fear of the ocean and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The team was highly knowledgeable and took time to explain everything clearly which helped me feel comfortable and safe. It was my very first scuba diving experience and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. The instructor stayed right by my side the entire time, holding my hand and guiding me through each step. I felt so at ease that I even returned the next day for the deep dive session it cost a little extra but was absolutely worth it. A warm lunch was included (and even featured in the photos) and the atmosphere on the boat was fantastic lots of dancing, singing and great energy from the team. They worked really hard to ensure everyone felt safe, supported and had fun. After the dive, a variety of drinks were available and everyone left smiling. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated how easy it was to connect with others on board I made new friends and i am already planning future adventures with them. If you're like I was nervous about the ocean but eager to try something new this is definitely the team to trust. I had two amazing days full of laughter and unforgettable memories.

This was my first time trying a diving activity and I was surprised at how easy and comfortable it turned out to be. There were definitely some positives such as a convenient hotel transfer and decent quality equipment. The boat was also spacious enough to accommodate everyone, around 40 people including children so it didn’t feel too cramped. However, a few downsides were the large number of participants and the dive sites feeling a bit too similar. For first timers though, it's still a good starting point. One thing that stood out was the pricing for photos and videos quite expensive with packages around €40. I ended up buying just one photo for €10, which felt a bit steep. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, I think it was worth the price I paid.

We had a fantastic day out. I went with my two sons aged 19 and 14, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, including two dives each. I had a really great experience! The whole team on board was absolutely lovely helpful, patient and friendly throughout. You have the option to purchase photos and videos as well as do a deeper dive if you’d like. I’d definitely recommend going for the deeper dive it gave me a chance to see more marine life and explore away from the main group, which made it much more enjoyable. Lunch was also better than expected chicken nuggets, pasta, and salad, served in generous portions. Drinks are available to buy on board for just a few euros or you can bring your own if you prefer. The staff were fantastic. One of the instructors with dark hair was especially kind, pointing out marine life and even handing me shells when she noticed I was collecting them. Another lovely woman helped send me my photos onboard and was incredibly friendly. All the guys onboard kept the mood light and fun with great energy. The only small thing I would’ve liked is to learn a bit more about controlling my own buoyancy underwater like managing the air release from the BCD but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall experience. There are a few wait times as people get kitted out, especially when it’s busy, but that’s to be expected. All in all, this was totally worth the price and a definite recommendation from me. 5 stars!

The day was absolutely perfect! Everything was well organized from hotel pickup to getting on the boat after collecting the rest of the group. The staff were young, friendly, and welcoming. The instructors were very good, although with such a large group, a few small details were missed now and then. We had two dives the first was short and mainly for photos and the second was deeper, lasting about 10 15 minutes. There’s even an option to get an international diving certification through them. The whole day was a great experience. Between tanning, swimming and enjoying the stunning views. Lunch was delicious not huge portions, but just right for a day out. Just a heads up bring cash with you as extras like photos, mouthpieces for diving, drinks and other add ons aren’t included and can’t be paid for by card.

Overall, the tour was really enjoyable. The transfer went smoothly and the drive wasn’t too long. The briefing on the boat was clear and helpful. We had two diving spots and each dive lasted around 15 minutes which was perfect for us as beginners. There was an option to book a private instructor for €150 for two people, allowing for 2 dives of 30 minutes each. They also offered photos and videos underwater—while we found them really well done and ended up buying them, the €80 price for two people felt a bit steep. One downside was that two boats were combined for the diving session, which meant longer waiting times. Luckily, we could swim or relax in the sun while waiting, so it wasn’t too bad. Lunch was served on board and was decent, although the portion was a bit small. In general, it was a good tour with friendly and helpful guides.

The scuba diving part itself was a good experience for beginners the depth was manageable and the instructors stayed close throughout the dive which helped ease any nervousness. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t meet expectations. There was little to no communication about when the dives would begin, which meant sitting around for one to two hours with no clear updates. The staff seemed more focused on entertaining themselves and promoting paid extras than actually looking after the guests. It felt like the main interest was upselling, often quite persistently. Overall, the dive was enjoyable but the customer service aspect could really use some improvement.

This was hands down the worst experience of our entire holiday. The trip was sold to us as a beginner scuba diving package with lunch and hotel transfers included in reality, it turned into a full day ordeal where we felt completely stuck on a boat. We were picked up at 8:30 a.m. and weren’t allowed off the boat until 7 p.m. not because of the itinerary but because no one seemed to care. The “lunch” was appalling: a cold handful of chips and half a dry chicken burger bun, clearly not enough for the 28 people onboard (they seemed to have prepared for about 22). The boat itself, was in poor condition old, dirty, and the toilet was absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper, unbearable smell it honestly made people feel sick. The scuba portion lasted about 10 minutes, but it took longer just to gear up. There was nothing to see underwater and the experience was so chaotic that several people started talking about swimming to shore to get a taxi home. At one point, someone who had been drinking ended up nearly drowning and had to be rescued. Later, swimming was halted altogether when the boat area became surrounded by debris and rubbish in the water, forcing the captain to move to a different location. Despite complaints, both the staff onboard and the rep who sold us the tour refused to take responsibility. There were even comments from the staff that complaints were common but apparently not their problem. Avoid this tour at all costs especially if you're traveling with children or expecting anything close to what’s advertised. This was a total disaster from start to finish.

I get that this tour is mainly designed for beginners and I’m okay with that. But the listing clearly stated around 45 minutes of diving in total I only got two short dives of about 9 minutes each. That’s far below what was advertised. The crew was friendly and being on a boat is always enjoyable which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. Still, it felt like a bit of a ripoff, and the underwater visibility wasn’t particularly impressive either.

If you're planning a trip to Antalya this is an absolute must! My partner and I had such an incredible day everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our tour operator, stayed in touch from the moment we booked and made sure everything went to plan, including perfectly timed transport. Our instructor and the rest of the team were fantastic so kind, upbeat and supportive. We got to enjoy two separate dives at different locations and spent the rest of the time swimming and relaxing under a beautiful 28°C sun (in March, no less!). We had a lot of laughs and created some unforgettable memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely brilliant experience. The pick up was smooth with no issues and we were quickly on the boat upon arrival. Only three of us were diving which meant we got plenty of time underwater. After the dives, the yacht made several beautiful stops where we could swim and even jump off the sides really fun. The food was great too with more than enough to go around. I recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Antalya. We were picked up right in front of our hotel, though the driving experience may vary depending on the driver (some more careful than others). Everything went exactly as described. The diving was well organized safety instructions were clear, and we had one on one diving with the instructors, who were excellent at making us feel safe and relaxed, especially for a first time dive. The second dive location was also enjoyable. It’s worth bringing swimwear during summer since wetsuits aren’t needed the water’s warm enough. You can swim around the boat while others are diving, so having your own goggles helps. Lunch was simple but decent mostly spaghetti with some vegetables. Overall, we really enjoyed it!

I was pretty disappointed with this experience. It’s really just a 10 minute underwater photo session nothing more. You don’t get taken to a reef or any interesting underwater spots so there’s really nothing to see. Definitely not what I expected from a diving trip.

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet our expectations. First, we were left waiting for over an hour because they forgot to pick us up. Although they eventually arranged a car and boat transfer, it set a negative tone. The description promised two dives in different locations but we only had one dive at a single spot near Antalya not Kemer as advertised. The dive lasted about 10 15 minutes instead of the stated 20 minutes and there was no Russian speaking guide despite selecting that option during booking. Lunch was just a small burger and fries, and drinks onboard were shockingly overpriced (€7 for 0.33L beer, with prices only revealed after the trip). While the instructors did keep a close watch underwater and the music on the boat was lively, the overall experience felt misleading and overpriced at $45. I wouldn’t recommend it based on how different it was from what was advertised.

The dive instructors were professional and helpful which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. This diving trip is definitely geared more towards beginners but it’s still worth doing for the experience. While waiting for our turn to dive, we were able to snorkel, which was a nice bonus. I joined both the island tour and the diving tour with a group of friends and overall, it was a great experience. The divers were welcoming and the staff on board were equally friendly. A special mention to the captain he was a Korean War veteran and treated us all with such kindness. That said, there was quite a bit of waiting involved between dives, so I’d recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear and a few snacks to pass the time comfortably. If you hold an open water certification, you're allowed to start diving earlier, which is a nice advantage. Big thanks to everyone involved you made it a memorable day!

Wow as first time divers, we couldn't have asked for a better experience with the Antalya Diving Team! From helping us get to an ATM to making sure we felt completely at ease in the gear, they took care of everything. We were a bit nervous at first, but the team reassured us both on land and underwater. Just a heads up: bring cash with you for payment and underwater photos definitely worth it. We’ll absolutely be coming back!

The diving instructors were absolutely brilliant professional, patient, and really supportive, especially for beginners like me. The underwater experience itself was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the day. Although only one dive was included instead of two as originally advertised, the quality of the instruction and the memorable time in the water made up for it.
