Ubud: Half-Day Semi-Customized Private-Tour with Live Guide

Adi, our driver, was fantastic, and we really enjoyed learning about the culture and life in the villages. The flexibility of the trip was excellent, allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted at the places we chose to visit.

The tour with Komang was wonderful! He picked us up and took us to all the spots we wanted to visit. He shared a lot of interesting information and guided us smoothly throughout the tour. We were even able to bring an extra person along at the last minute, which wasn’t an issue at all. Starting in Ubud, we were able to select our itinerary from several options listed on the website. We visited some temples in the forest and the beautiful terraced rice fields. Keep in mind the heavy traffic when planning your schedule, especially when it comes to the return trip to Ubud. Our guide, Wayan (Apple), was amazing. He spoke perfect English . If you can, definitely request him as your guide!

We had an incredible day. Our guide, Adi, was very knowledgeable and took the time at each location to explain the local traditions. He drove carefully according to the road conditions, and we felt safe throughout the entire day. We enjoyed white water rafting, visited a waterfall, explored the rice terraces, and went to the water temple.

We booked a full day private tour and let our guide know what we didn’t want to see. The day started early at 6 a.m. We visited several beautiful waterfalls (Kamto Lampo, Suwat, Tegenungan) that weren’t too steep, which was perfect as I was already quite tired from the previous days. I wanted a more relaxing tour, and we got just that with Adi. We also visited the Tegalalang rice fields. Overall, it was a great day.

He arrived early at our hotel, picked us up in a clean, well maintained vehicle, and even provided us with refreshing ice cold water. She connected wonderfully with our 6 year old son and took excellent care of him. She was very authentic and answered all our questions about local customs with great knowledge. I had an amazing time exploring Bali with my guide Sagita. Even though the weather was rainy, she made the day unforgettable and a lot of fun! We visited the beautiful Jatiluwih rice terraces, the famous Tanah Lot temple, and a Luwak coffee plantation where I learned a lot. Her friendly personality really made the tour stand out. We were met by a different guide/driver than the one we had initially planned the trip with. The driver was very nice, but he was definitely not a guide. He didn’t speak much and only gave short answers when asked directly. We could have just hired a car with a driver for half the price. We had expected to pay extra for a guide service.
