Turunc Turtle Beach Tour has everything you will need to make your holiday as as memorable as possible. On this very special tour you will visit the best well preserved natural beauties of the western coast of Turkey. Sites such as Koycegiz Lake, Mud Baths, Iztuzu River, Temple Tombs and the world famous Turtle Beach.
Our tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 7:45am, followed by a comfortable bus ride to the charming village of Dalyan. After exploring this authentic Turkish village, you will first head to the famous mud baths where you can enjoy the healing mineral-rich mud.
The mud baths are the town’s most famous attraction, offering a unique chance to soak in mineral-rich mud that blends fun with health benefits. The large, warm springs are perfect for families and friends, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.
After visiting Dalyan’s thermal springs, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch. While you eat, our guides will share fascinating legends and stories about the ancient Rock Tombs at the Caunos site.
Crossing the stunning Dalyan River is a magnificent experience in itself. Numerous rivers and mountain streams converge their waters, forming this beautiful lake, which then narrows and flows into the Dalyan River. This picturesque lake serves as a cradle for breathtaking natural scenery, showcasing the area's remarkable beauty.
Once the cruise comes to an end, we will arrive at Turtle Beach, also known as İztuzu Beach. Here, you may have the chance to spot Loggerhead turtles moving along the shore, and if you’re lucky, they might even swim nearby, joining you in the water for a truly memorable experience.

- ●For health and safety reasons, this activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with open wounds or skin conditions, as exposure to natural elements such as mineral-rich mud and water may pose risks or cause irritation
- ●The tour is conducted primarily in English by our experienced guide; however, upon prior request, guides fluent in additional languages can be arranged to accommodate your needs.
Know Before You Go
- ●Transfers back to Turunc are provided by scheduled buses called dolmuş (Public Service Vehicle). The price you pay includes a one-way transfer from Turunc to Marmaris. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at the bus station in Marmaris, where you can easily catch a dolmuş to return to Turunc.
- ●Silver jewelry may react with the mud, causing discoloration. We recommend leaving all silver accessories securely in your hotel room during the mud bath experience.

The bus was spotless and arrived punctually at our hotel. The mud bath was enjoyable, and the lunch was delicious. We had the chance to hold and taste fresh blue crab on the boat. We also spotted a few turtles and swam at a clean, beautiful beach. Overall, the trip offered excellent value for the price.
