Start your day with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation. Your first stop will be the Eskitoğlu Waterfall, a stunning cascade that tumbles 80 meters in two tiers, located just outside the city of Rize. Take in the breathtaking views of this city that lies only 500 meters from the sea.
Continue your journey through Rize’s city center as you head toward the scenic Storm Valley. Pause at activity spots along the Fırtına Stream, where you can embrace adventure with rafting, a zip-line ride, or a swing experience surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Enter the lush Kaçkar Mountains National Park, where every shade of green awaits. Arrive at Ayder Plateau and park near a cozy restaurant. Enjoy free time for lunch, sightseeing, and soaking in the serene atmosphere.
As your day winds down, meet at the designated spot for your return trip. On the way back, stop at the historic Kale-i Hala stone bridge, built in the 18th century, and capture the moment with some memorable photos. I was excited for the cave and plateau, but the pace felt rushed. Çal Cave’s formations are stunning, though we zipped through the passages too quickly. Hıdırnebi Plateau’s green expanses were lovely, but I barely had time to enjoy the view before we moved on. Sera Lake was peaceful, but overall I wanted a bit more downtime.
