Rhodes: Ladiko Bay Rock Climbing and Rappelling Experience

That was such a wonderful experience. The guides were incredibly informed and had a great sense of humor. We all had a great time. Even though none of us had any prior experience, we got to try out some exciting activities and explore the area too. We’d love to do this again. Huge thanks to the whole team it was a perfect day.

Sadly, the tour had to be called off because of bad weather. The climbing spot looked amazing, right by the coast, and the climbing routes appeared to be very well set up.

The guides were top notch they kept us safe while also motivating us to go further. Their excitement was contagious and added even more to the day. The views from above were absolutely stunning. Caroline, Ilias, and Maria were absolutely brilliant guides. We started with a few hours of climbing at the Ladiko sport climbing area. There were three routes, all rated 5A+, and one could be done as a 5B+ too. After climbing, we hiked to the cave for a breathtaking rappel during the sunset over the sea. An unforgettable outing I'd gladly join another guided tour with Ilias or Caroline. This was easily the highlight of my trip to Rhodes. Thank you all so much!

Totally worth the cost. I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys being active outdoors. The experience involved rock climbing, a short hike, and abseiling. We were also given snacks and water throughout. Caroline and Ilias were kind, experienced, and very professional. Though we only had basic bouldering experience and had never climbed outside before, we had an amazing time!

Spent a fantastic afternoon with Caroline and Ilias climbing and rappelling above Ladiko Bay. Their instructions were clear, safety was a top priority, and they made everything fun. The climbs were tougher than what we’d tried before, but their support made all the difference. We're a family of three with a 15 year old and none of us had ever rappelled before. We thought we'd be scared, especially stepping back over the edge, but they gave us full confidence and control. The views were beautiful and the whole experience was unforgettable. This is a must if you’re in Rhodes and love a bit of adventure. Thanks again for an awesome time!

I had such a good time on the climbing trip! Carolien and Ilias were amazing and showed me several different climbing routes. They really made my time in Rhodes special. I enjoy bouldering and am just getting into outdoor climbing, and this was the perfect introduction. Even experienced climbers would enjoy it you’ll still get great tips from the guides. Watching Ilias climb was something else he made it look effortless! Overall, a great tour with stunning views, a fantastic team, and loads of helpful info about the island. This was by far our most unforgettable adventure in Rhodes! As beginners, we were completely drawn in by the excitement of climbing, thanks to Carolin, Elias, and Maria. They truly sparked our interest, and now we’re eager to try climbing elsewhere. The tour began with a short walk to a wall where we climbed three different routes—everything we needed, including shoes, was provided. The guides were all incredibly encouraging and lighthearted, making it easy to succeed. Once everyone had climbed to their heart's content, we continued up a small mountain, which included some minor climbing sections and ended with an amazing view. The final part involved a short training session before rappelling down a 35-meter drop. Since the pace was relaxed, we finished around sunset and completed the last stretch using flashlights. A huge thank you for such a wonderful adventure!

We had an incredible day of climbing and rappelling with Rhodes Adventures. Cathrine and Elias were fantastic guides — always ready with a joke, but extremely serious about safety. They knew the climbing areas inside and out. They chose a wall that suited our skill level perfectly — challenging, but never beyond what we could manage. The rappelling part was especially breathtaking, and the views were incredible. We received clear, helpful instructions throughout and always felt completely safe, even when dangling high above the ground. A truly mind-blowing experience. I can’t recommend this highly enough!

This was a one-of-a-kind adventure. Our instructors, Elias and Elias, were highly skilled and made us feel completely secure the entire time. One of them also took some incredible photos of us along the way. The rock climbing was both fun and physically engaging, and the hike and rappel that followed offered amazing views over the coastline, including Ladiko Bay and Anthony Quinn Bay. A truly unforgettable outing for anyone visiting Rhodes who enjoys a bit of adrenaline and isn’t afraid of heights.
