Join the Marmaris Turtle Beach Tour for a memorable day! Cruise the Dalyan River, explore Iztuzu Beach—home to rare loggerhead turtles—and unwind in rejuvenating mud baths. A perfect mix of nature and history!
A highlight of the Marmaris Dalyan Tour is the ride on a traditional Barkas boat, specially designed for navigating the Dalyan River’s narrow channels. These charming, flat-bottomed boats offer an up-close and personal experience of the region’s stunning natural beauty. Glide silently past reeds and marshlands, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere while spotting local wildlife. This authentic touch adds an extra layer of charm to your adventure, making the day even more memorable.
Begin your adventure with a relaxing cruise along the breathtaking Dalyan River. As you glide through its peaceful waters, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil beauty. The river is a haven for wildlife, including herons, kingfishers, and even playful turtles. The boat ride sets the perfect tone for a day full of discovery and relaxation.
Next, arrive at Iztuzu Beach, famously known as Turtle Beach. This stunning stretch of golden sand is a protected nesting ground for endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta). Swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea or lounge on the soft sands while soaking up the sun. It's an experience that perfectly combines relaxation and the thrill of seeing nature at its finest.
As the tour continues, you’ll get a glimpse into Turkey’s rich history with a view of the Lycian rock tombs. Carved high into the cliffs, these remarkable ancient tombs have stood the test of time and tell fascinating stories of a civilization long gone. Your guide will share intriguing insights about these iconic monuments, bringing history to life before your eyes.
Complete your day with a rejuvenating dip in Dalyan’s famous natural mud baths and thermal pools. Slather yourself with mineral-rich mud, let it dry, and wash it off to reveal refreshed and glowing skin. It’s a fun and therapeutic way to end the tour, leaving you relaxed and energized.

Great tour! Dmitri was a fantastic guide—really knowledgeable and friendly. We had plenty of time to check out all the spots, though I wouldn’t have minded a little longer at turtle beach. A quick tip: bring some snacks. The food at the stops is pricey, and the lunch wasn’t great—small portions and not the tastiest. Still, overall, a fun experience!

We arranged everything before our trip and got regular updates throughout – really smooth process! Traveling with our big group (7 of us, including little ones) worked out perfectly – they took care of all our needs. The hotel pickup and drop-off made things so easy. The mud baths were awesome, though I wish we'd had a bit more time to unwind there. No question – we'll be doing this exact tour again when we come back next summer!

What an incredible adventure! We got picked up by bus and headed to Dalyan where we boarded our boat on the lake – the views were absolutely stunning and the water was perfectly calm. The boat ride itself was so peaceful. The mud baths were hilarious (yes, they smell a bit but it's part of the fun!) and the thermal pools felt amazing. The lake was like glass! Then came the highlight – Turtle Beach. Seeing those magnificent creatures swimming and feeding right in front of us was unforgettable. The beach itself is gorgeous, and you've got to try the chocolate pancakes – delicious and such good value! This trip is worth every penny.

This was such a fantastic experience! I booked my tickets online and it was totally worth it. The food was just okay (the chicken was... well, let's just say not the best quality), but the drink prices were fair. Though, 80 lira for ice cream did feel a bit steep! All in all, it's definitely an adventure I'd recommend – just maybe eat beforehand!

We had an absolutely fantastic day in Dalyan with the kids! They loved playing on the beach, spotting a turtle, and getting messy in the mud baths – total highlight for them. Mete made booking super easy, and Erdal on the boat was amazing with my 7 and 9-year-olds. This trip is perfect for families – both kids and adults will love it. What really made it special was avoiding long bus rides – everything happens by boat! You start and end on this big, cruise-like boat, then hop onto smaller ones (fits about 40 people) for the middle part. Honestly, such great value. Even the lunch was tasty! Would 100% do this again.

Everything ran like clockwork – such a smooth, well-planned day! The whole crew went out of their way to be helpful. The boat itself was spotless, and we loved having plenty of sun loungers to relax on during the trip. Perfect setup for soaking up the sunshine!

We kicked off the day on a spacious boat with plenty of spots for both sunbathers and shade-seekers. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure – we got to swim, visit Turtle Beach, cruise up the river, and of course, try the famous mud baths. The pace was just right, never felt rushed. Lunch was served around 11:30, so you might want to pack a snack or grab something later if you get peckish in the afternoon. If you're after a chilled-out day with some sightseeing and a fun mud experience, this is ideal!

This was quite the marathon day! Our pickup was at 8:30 AM, and we set sail by 9:30 AM on a boat packed with around 300 passengers. We lucked out and found a decent spot on deck with some shade. The crew kept busy hawking drinks, candy, and ice cream—there was even a guy with a parrot for photo ops! Between the burgers, fries, and chocolate bars, it felt like a floating convenience store. Our first stop was a 30-minute swim break, which was pure chaos. With everyone rushing to disembark at once, we barely had five minutes in the water before the whistle blew. Lunch at 11:30 AM was... memorable, but not in a good way. A sad little salad, mushy pasta drowned in something resembling ketchup, and breaded chicken that would’ve been rejected in a school cafeteria. The lone slice of bread was the highlight—no drinks included, not even water (that cost extra!). They offered an optional dinner booking for 5:30 PM, warning we’d return late. After that lunch, we wisely passed. Turtle Beach was the day’s redeeming moment—peaceful, with actual turtles, and a full hour to swim. The river tour to see the tombs and mud baths was also lovely, though the mud experience itself felt overly commercialized, with crowds being funneled through. The two-hour return trip to Marmaris was rough and endless. We docked at 7:30 PM, only to face another scramble as hundreds fought for their correct shuttle bus. We bailed and took a dolmuş instead. While there were bright spots, the overcrowding and constant upsells made it exhausting. Bring your own drinks and snacks—and maybe lower expectations on the food front!

Absolutely worth every penny! Our agent was super responsive and helpful when I messaged him on WhatsApp to arrange everything. The full-day boat trip was fantastic – we got to visit Turtle Beach (so magical seeing them in the wild!) and then experience the famous Mud Bath spa. Such a fun, unique day out!
