This was a fantastic one-day trip by minibus—highly recommended for anyone visiting Lisbon! Our guide and driver, Hugo, was incredibly professional and shared so much insightful history about Portugal along the way. He answered all our questions with patience and kindness. In Sintra, he gave us great local tips for restaurants and pastry shops, which saved us time and led to some truly delicious (and reasonably priced) treats. The stops—Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais—were absolutely stunning and definitely must-sees. Traveling in a small group of just six made everything feel relaxed and comfortable. She was also a safe and confident driver, and the minibus was super comfortable. The schedule was perfectly paced—we never felt rushed. What stood out the most, though, was Lara’s kindness. I was in the final stage of recovering from a knee injury, and while I could walk, she went out of her way to help. She showed me where to find the lift, assisted with the Pena Palace shuttle, and made sure everything was as smooth and comfortable as possible. We also really appreciated how she adjusted the plan based on the weather, keeping us cooler during the hottest part of the day and even handing out extra water. The evening before, I was notified about a one-hour delay, but when I arrived at the meeting point at the new scheduled time, there was no transportation at all. Inside the palace, we explored the beautifully preserved chambers together and learned so many fascinating and fun facts. I highly recommend choosing the option that includes the chambers—the rooms are still fully furnished and absolutely captivating. For us, this experience was a solid 10/10.
