We were told the journey from Side would take about three hours, but the bus journey actually took five. Instead of going directly to our destination, we were taken on two different routes, where we were pressured to buy stoneware, and then taken to another stop where we were supposed to attend a wine and oil seminar. When we finally arrived in Pamukkale, we were only given two and a half hours to see everything, which felt very rushed. If we hadn't been taken to these extra stops, we would have had about two more hours to enjoy the main attraction, which we had paid for. Also, the Cleopatra pools were closed for renovations. As a result, we spent a day on the bus without seeing much, and the bus felt very expensive. The guide was rude and seemed in a rush the entire way.

The trip was truly magnificent and well-organized; we made several stops to stretch our legs before reaching the main attraction. While the bus ride was long, the interesting stops along the way were worth it, and the bus was comfortable with effective air conditioning. We packed so much into what seemed like such a short time that we were thrilled by the time we returned to the hotel. Pamukkale, the highlight of the trip, was even more magical than we had imagined; it was a must-see. It was fascinating to see how people live in the mountainous regions of Turkey, far from the touristy areas. We had breakfast on the shores of Lake Sala, passed a remarkable stone mill, and enjoyed a delicious wine tasting. We spent most of our time exploring the white terraces of Pamukkale, which was truly an adventure. Our guide was knowledgeable and very kind.

As mentioned in other reviews, the site was only partially filled just the concrete pools had water, while the rest was dry and gray. The ancient ruins themselves were impressive, though. The trip was well organized, lasting about 4 hours and 40 minutes, with a return around 10 pm. The meal provided was average but included, and the guide did a great job throughout.

If you're only going to take one tour, I highly recommend this one. The private minibus was comfortable, and we had a pleasant breakfast stop along the way. While we were disappointed we couldn't swim in the Cleopatra Pool due to renovations, Cloud Castle more than made up for it; it was a magnificent spot with warm water. The ancient city of Hierapolis, especially the amphitheater, was stunning, and there were plenty of great photo opportunities. Our guide was fantastic, sharing lots of interesting information that made the tour even more enjoyable. The only downside was the lunch break: the hot food wasn't very hot, and the restroom was in poor condition; they should improve this for all tourists. It was a long day, but definitely worth it.

From there, we took a bus for breakfast. After about a three hour drive, we arrived in Pamukkale and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had lunch around 3:30 p.m. before returning to the hotel.

The journey in a comfortable bus was quite enjoyable. The food was delicious and Pamukkale was breathtakingly beautiful.

It was an enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend it. One advantage was that you could pay the entrance fee directly to the tour guide using a card. Everything was clearly explained, and there was enough time to visit the three main sites in Pamukkale. Salda Lake was stunning, and we arrived at a time when it wasn’t crowded, allowing for a peaceful visit. The large bus was comfortable and had good air conditioning. On the downside, the meals provided were somewhat disappointing in quality. Also, the timing between pickup and the transfer to Antalya could be improved, as we ended up waiting about an hour in Antalya for the big bus to arrive. For improvements, better quality food and clearer information about extra entrance fees would be helpful. It would also be great if child ticket prices were taken into account.

Overall, we were quite pleased with the tour guide and the places we visited. We didn't receive any emails or messages informing us that the departure time had been changed from the original 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM, which meant we had to wait two hours. At least some advance notice via text message would have been helpful.
