Any extra requests from guests were also accommodated. In Antalya city center, we had four hours of free time and received a city map. If you’re expecting a guided walk with detailed explanations, this isn’t the tour for you. However, if you want to explore independently with helpful tips, excellent transport, and a map, this is perfect. I had time to shop, wander through the old town, relax at the yacht harbor, and try both a restaurant and a café. The waterfall was also beautiful, and we had 45 minutes to explore there on our own. We would definitely return!

We really enjoyed the trip. After stopping at a beautiful waterfall, we changed buses with our German guide and drove a bit further before being dropped off near the old town. We then had four hours to explore the old town and harbor on our own, which we thought was fantastic. After sightseeing, having lunch, and visiting an old bazaar, it was time to return to the meeting point. The pick up and drop off went smoothly. My only minor disappointment was that I had hoped to learn more about Antalya during the bus ride, but that didn’t happen.

We were picked up from our hotel right on schedule. Our guide, was very friendly, smiling, and attentive. We spent 30 minutes at the waterfall, which was more than enough, and then were dropped off at the bazaar with four hours of free time. We received a small city map highlighting places to visit. At the end, we returned to the hotel. However, you should have a good knowledge of English or German, as there was only limited information about Antalya provided on the bus.

A lovely day out to Antalya, it’s excellent value for money. This is a guided tour, but we knew what to expect from reading previous reviews. The tour guide and driver were both very friendly, accommodating, and shared useful information about Antalya and the waterfall. Spending 30 minutes at the waterfall was perfect, and 4.5 hours in Antalya was ideal. Upon arrival, there was an attempt to sell discounted clothes through a partner company, but it’s easy to walk away if you wish. Antalya itself is stunning the old town and harbor reminded me of places in Greece or Italy. I highly recommend visiting this city and taking this tour.

Overall, the day trip was excellent. I’ve visited Antalya before, and the drop-off location was perfect. The guide gave useful advice, warning us about overpriced or potentially unsafe perfumes and encouraging us to negotiate. The only reasons I rated it 3 stars instead of 5 were that the coach’s AC wasn’t working, which was tough in the summer heat, and the free time for shopping ended up being 3 hours instead of the 2.5 hours stated. Two hours would have been plenty for us. Despite that, it was great value for money, well-organized, and everything ran smoothly.

My overall rating is average because we spent a lot of time on the bus, stopping at multiple hotels before even starting the trip to Antalya. The return journey to Side during rush hour was even longer. Overall, more time was spent traveling than actually touring Antalya, which made the day feel drawn out. The Antalya waterfall was beautiful, and the harbour and old town were lovely definitely worth seeing, just not from Side. The guide was multilingual, clear, and very pleasant, but the extended bus time was too much.
