Sarigerme Turkish Bath Tour starts with a complementary pick-up from your accommodation in Sarigerme, followed by a brief and cozy drive to Ortaca. Once we arrive at the hammam, you will go to the dressing cubicles first, so you can undress and slip into your bathing suit. You can leave the rest of your clothes there as well. One of the members of the hammam’s personnel will also hand you a large ‘’peştamal’’, which is a traditional white towel. This soft towel is provided so you can wrap yourself in it, as you walk from one room to another. One of the staff members will also provide you with a pair of slippers or wooden clogs.
Once you are properly dressed, you will go into the dome-shaped hot bath area. The room has marble seats, so you can sit down and enjoy your sauna treatment. This special room is created to keep in the heated, humid air. The air opens your skin pores significantly, and then cleans them. Afterwards you will receive a rejuvenating scrub, which is useful for your skin on a cellular level.
Scrubbing is followed by a smooth, soothing foam massage which is done by one of the hammams skillful professionals. Turkish baths usually provide the services of both female and male masseuses. That way you can choose and you don’t have to feel uncomfortable. Once the treatment is over, you can move to the shade room, to unwind and recuperate before we head back to Sarigerme.
Children younger than 7 get a free entry to a hammam, while children between 7 and 12 are charged one half of a total price. Hammam also offers a self-serving program. With a self-service method you bring your own soap and towel, and take a bath on your own. This option is cheaper, but if you want to have an authentic Turkish bath experience, we don’t recommend it. Hammam experiences are all about being fully taken care of and pampered, while you just relax and enjoy.

Sarigerme Turkish Bath Tour starts when our driver picks you up in front of your accommodation in Sarigerme. You will be taken for a short ride to the nearby town of Ortaca in one of our cozy vehicles. Once we arrive to the hammam, you will be greeted by one of the hammams staff-members, who will escort you to the changing cubicles. Once you change into your swim-suit, you will be handed a large white towel, so you can wrap your body in it, as well as a pair of slippers or wooden clogs.
Sauna Treatment: First among the several treatments you will be receiving in the hammam is the sauna treatment. Sauna treatment lasts between 10 to 15 minutes. This particular treatment is used to open your skin pores and prepare your skin for the treatments that are ahead. Since the following treatments are usually about the cleansing and rejuvenating the skin, preparing your pores is of outmost importance.
Scrub Massage: All visitors of Turkish hammams have their favorites, and the scrub massage is at the top of most of their lists. This dynamic massage is performed by a skillful professional who wears a pair of special silk gloves. With them he/she gently scrubs off the dead epithelia and dirt that’s been clogging your pores. Been several times to a hamam, so when I was in Sarigerme, I booked immediately. The tour agency made everything clear to me, they even offered a car to transfer me. They provide good service. At the hamam it was fantastic, so relaxing and peaceful. My personal favourite is the body scrub. It’s like you are reborn, the skin is so smooth after that. I believe this is one of the things all people shall experience when in Turkey. Definitely worthy and value for money. It’s like you are in a spa, but a more traditional one, more immersive.
What a great afternoon that was! The facility is super nice, clean and impressive. You get to feel relaxed as soon as you enter, idk how they do it!! The girls working there are very helpful and polite. I enjoyed all the services. The hot room, the scrub, the foam wash. Every single thing was exceptional and the very well executed. They are obviously professionals in this. Now I feel amazing. Super relaxed and with good vibes. It’s like I can start all over again with my sightseeing. 100% recommended, it’s one of the best things to do in Sarigerme.
