The feature that distinguishes us from other companies organizing Princess Island tours is we have our own boat assigned only for our tour group. So you don’t need to waste your time waiting for the public transportation boats.
It is not a coincidence that Istanbul is famous as the city of contradictions. Despite its vibrant and bustling atmosphere, there are still some spots where you feel like time has stopped. Istanbul Princess Island Tour gives you the opportunity to escape from the crowds of the city centre, and visit the charming and picturesque Princess Islands. Feel the serenity of the setting, admire the quiet atmosphere, interact with the locals, and create some new memories.
The Princess Island Tour is available on a daily basis and begins during the morning. For your own comfort, a modern vehicle will transfer you from your hotel to the Golden Horn, which is the starting point of the tour. From there, you will embark on a ferry boat in order to reach the first of the islands. The boat trip lasts for almost 30 minutes.
The Princes’ Islands (Kızıl Adalar or just Adalar) are a chain of nine rather small islands in the Sea of Marmara.
All transportation on the island is provided by electric vehicles. You can explore the island with electric vehicles.
The first island to explore is called Heybeliada or Halki. Princess Islands are nine in total, and this one is the second largest, and the one closest to the city. Once there, you will be impressed by the green setting which demonstrates natural beauty at its finest. Blue waters, green trees and tranquillity are some of the island’s main characteristics. During your time there, you can explore some sites such as the Theological School, the Beth Yaakov Synagogue, a monastery, and a church. The tour guide will give you some interesting insights regarding the places of interest.
By the end of the first stop, you will again embark on the boat and travel to Buyukada, the largest and the most popular of the islands. The distance between them is approximately 10 minutes. However, reaching the island will take longer as you will enjoy a lunch break aboard with a buffet full of delicious options.
Upon arrival on the next stop of the tour, you will be impressed by the charming and beautiful houses. As you walk around exploring the island you will observe some sites such as the Clock Tower, Aya Yorgi Church, the Greek Orphanage, imposing old mansions, and of course a beautiful blue sea. Take your time to relax and don’t forget to snap some photos.
After spending some time there, you will return back to the city with a ferry boat. At the port, a fully air conditioned and modern vehicle will be waiting in order to transfer you back to your place of accommodation. Princess Islands Tour is a must option as they offer you a whole different image of Istanbul.

This was a good tour indeed. We didnt spend so much in the first island but the lunch was great and we have more chance at the second island. The Island has beautiful houses on pleasant and calm roads and scenic as well. All tourists can access the town on horse carriage can rent bicycles and residents own electric vehicles. Other motor vehicles are not allowed in the whole Island. Buyukada is a beautiful place. We got many photos and rented a bike there. Heybeliada was a little small but very pretty. Lunch was sea view and food was delicius. I got lots of beautiful memories in a day trip in Princes Island tour. If you want to see old İstanbul summer houses you should join İstanbul Princes island tour.
The Island is a nice place with beautiful villas to explore and terrific views of the beach up from the hill. There are no cars on this island only electric vehicles and bikes. Lots of dining options and several cafes in addition to lokma and ice cream shops. Hike to the Prinkipo Greek Orthodox Orphanage or ride a bike to the Viranbağ beach/restaurant. The architecture and scenery are great there. We walked around, had coffee, lots of restaurants…lots of beaches where you pay for chairs. We just sat on water on rocks for free. Really pleasent get away. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience, if you have the time please visit the island you won’t regret it.
A tranquil and enjoyable 1+half hr boat trip each way. We cycled twice around (a little hilly in places). The views and sites were fab with wonderful wooden charming houses and it was peaceful with only essential cars allowed there. Great seafood restaurants and a great day out and away from the busy Istanbul city. You may enjoy with your family snapping photos and feeding birds while the ship is moving and you can also have some snacks from the coffee shop. Once you arrive to the island, you can move freely in the island and enjoy healthy breath and amazing views. You can also sit in any coffee shop and you can also rent a bike. I prefer Heybeliada more than the biggest island Buyukada. Buyukada does have much to explore, such as churches and the mountain, Heybeliada is more serene. The islands are motor-vehicle free. Which means you can either rent out a bicycle, hire a horse carriage or just walk around. This is a must-do!
