Photos

The ancient city of Perge is your first stop, and one of the most important sites in the area. More precisely, it was founded right after the Trojan horse, and forms one of the most important Roman settlements in the area. As you walk around the site, you will spot the ancient agora, a theatre, defensive walls, and an acropolis that dates back to bronze period. During your time there, feel free to ask anything you need to know about the site’s history and importance.

The excursion continues with a visit at the ancient city of Aspendos. The settlement’s location, next to Köprüçay River, made this city one of the most important financial and cultural hubs of antiquity. Of course, one of the greatest highlights of this site is the Roman theatre, which was constructed during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. The theatre is still being used for major cultural events.

At a local restaurant, you will have some time to enjoy a freshly made, and tasty lunch. Energised and relaxed from your break, you will continue this sightseeing experience at the ancient city of Side. Among the ruins, you can spot a theatre, the temple of Apollo, and marble columns. From the ancient city of Side, you can, also, enjoy some views over the Mediterranean Sea.

The last stop takes place at the ultra-relaxing setting of Manavgat Waterfalls. As the water cascades, feel your energy levels increasing, and let your senses experience the relaxation you need. However, don’t forget to snap some photos. The excursion finishes in the afternoon, with a transfer service back to Belek. Once back at your hotel, expect to be full of great images, and memories from this day.
