From Kemer: Pamukkale and Lake Salda w/Meals & Transfer

A day with exquisite views and ancient history is what this full day tour is promising! With an early morning pick up from your hotel, you will visit Salda Lake. The tour is guided by a professional guide, and along the way to Salda Lake, you will get some interesting information about the schedule. Salda is also famous as the “Turkish Maldives”, and once there you will understand why. The turquoise waters of the lake and the white sands, are surrounded by a green forest, creating an exotic backdrop for your photos. With volcanic origins, and the cleanest lake waters in Turkey that have increased concentration in minerals, this lake is about to take your breath-away.

The excursion includes, also, an extremely interesting sightseeing session in Pamukkale. Accompanied by a tour guide, visit the “Cotton Castle” to observe the calcium terraces filled with thermal water. To experience the benefits of thermal water, you may also visit the antique thermal pool, known as Cleopatra’s Pool. Entrance is at an extra cost, but the experience is rewarding! During your time in Pamukkale, expect to visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, and understand the importance of the ruins.  Among the most important and interesting structures to observe, is the ancient theatre, the roman baths, and the necropolis. In the afternoon, you will return back at your hotels in Kemer, full of new images and emotions! Make the best memories, explore interesting sites and natural wonders, and spend quality time with friends or family with a tour that combines everything you need!

Tour was ok, but i felt little bit misled – there was no info that the white cascades are closed and without water. So felt bit disappointed when I arrived. There is no point to take additionally swimming in Cleopatras pool ( its additionally 10 EUR and is charged extra) – you will be able to see it, but swimming in it is like moving in pool full of construction debris, they call it “leaving the authenticity”, but some of those stones they should move so people can actually walk and not fall over them. You will have 3 hours in Pamukalle, If you want to walk in museums and see all the city ruins, you’ll need ~ 2h for walking.

I was so amazed with my Pamukkale day trip. The whole trip is worth for a day if you have a short holiday in Antalya like me but ı would love to spend 1 more day in Pamukkale. I highly recommend Excursion Mania for all their services in Antalya.
