Tomb of Sariana: Few tourists know about such an attraction in the resort of Marmaris. In fact, it is almost impossible to notice it from the side of the road. But we will specially lead you to the tomb. The stands at the entrance provide information about who Sariana was, what she was famous for and why she was buried here. For Marmaris, Sarian (Saryana) is a fairly well-known person. This is a famous soothsayer who lived in the vicinity of Marmaris in the 16th century. The entrance to the tomb is open to everyone. People come to her for advice or to pray. There is even a small pilgrim chair inside.
Nimara Cave: This famous site is in heaven Island near Marmaris. According to legend, the goddess Leth, the wife of Zeus and the mother of the god Apollo, once lived here. The cave is located on a small hill and therefore at one time served as a kind of altar for offerings to the gods. Nimara’s cave was discovered relatively recently. Archaeological excavations are still underway. Many archaeological values have already been found. Therefore, the cave is under protection as a valuable archaeological site. The cave cannot boast of its size. But you will have the opportunity to visit the inside in a place far from civilization.
