Your experience begins as our driver will come and collect you from your hotel. The drive up the mountain is almost like a tour in itself as you pass the awe-inspiring scenery. Once we arrive at our take off sight you will meet our fully professional, expert team. Your nerves will be calmed as you are given our detailed safety talk. Your safety is our main priority and you need not worry. All equipment that we use is fully tested and top of the range. Our instructors are all licensed and have made hundreds of these flights. You will of course be given safety gear that comfortably fits you. Following our safety demonstration and talk you’ll meet your pilot and he will show you what you need to do during the flight. Actually, there is not much you do at all except sit back and enjoy the view. It is that simple.
Your pilot will begin his run up and before you know it you’ll be soaring into the thermals above Kemer. Each flight takes between 20 minutes and an hour depending on the weather conditions. Once you get up into the air you’ll be amazed at how smooth and peaceful the whole experience is. Enjoy views that you simply wouldn’t get anywhere else. You’ll be able to see Kemer and the surrounding countryside like never before. The turquoise waters of the Mediterranean flow and ebb below you as slowly but surely you get closer to land. Our driver will come and collect you from your hotel and take you to Adrasan. After a short drive for 45 minutes, you will arrive to our take off sight at Adrasan.
Safety and Pilots: For first timers and experts alike, safety is the number one priority. As soon as you meet our professional guides and pilots any nerves you may have will disappear. Our team have done hundreds of these flights and all of our equipment is of the highest standard. You will be given a full safety demonstration and our guides are on hand to answer any questions that you may have.
Paragliding: A paraglider is a free styled, foot launched air vehicle. You basically turn the thermals and the winds in your favour to soar high and gently come back down to earth. Your paragliding experience today is a tandem flight which means you will have a pilot to fly and guide you along the way. All you need to do is sit back and enjoy the view. For those who want a more thrilling experience you can ask your pilot to do some adrenaline, hair raising moves and turns.
Duration: Depending on the weather, our flights from Olympus mountains take between 20 minutes. During this time, you will gently float down to earth with one of the best views you could imagine. Your guide will point out different sights and you may even witness some flying friends up there in the shape of local bird life. The calming waters of the Mediterranean will expand out beneath your feet. The Taurus mountains offer amazing scenery and also help us with the thermals as we gradually get lower and lower.
Landing: Towards the end of your flight the landing zone will come into view and your pilot will expertly guide you safely to terra firma. You will want to get straight back up again and do it again and again. Often we see paragliders who came to us with those first time nervous and now they are back for the third or fourth visit. Once the bug has got you, you are a paraglider for life. You will land to Adrasan beach safely and will have a swim break.
Return Back: Our driver will be waiting for you at the landing zone to take you back home to your hotel. Admittedly a car is not the most exciting form of transport after your last experience but it’s back to earth until the next time.
