Antalya city is the capital of Antalya province and is a fantastic place to visit for those looking for culture, history and scenery. Our Antalya City Tour From Kemer will immerse you in all this amazing city has to offer. We’ll visit the old town of Kaeici, home of the Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Cami which is a beautiful 18th century mosque. We’ll walk through the old town streets and visit Hadrian’s gate which was erected to commemorate the visit of the roman emperor Hadrian. The famous clock tower s also included on this fantastic tour of Antalya as well as an awesome cable car ride to give you a real perspective of the place.
A visit to the beautiful city of Antalya must be on every visitors list when they come to this part of Turkey. Known as the gateway to the Turkish riviera, Antalya is the largest city on the Mediterranean coast and is home to about 1 million people. The city is a perfect example of how modern and ancient Turkey mix together. Some of the area’s most well known historical sites are in Antalya and are wonderfully preserved for you to explore.
The old town of Kaleici is a great place to wander the streets. The picture perfect buildings all tell amazing stories, none more so than the old mosque which has been here since Ottoman times in the 18th century. Walking to the top of the old town we’ll pass more ruins until we come to the Hadrian’s gate. Built in AD 130 to commemorate the visit of the then Roman Emperor Hadrian this impressive structure contains stunning, ornate floral motives. Visitors will also get a chance to see the Broken Minaret mosque. This building tells the story of Antalya’s various empires. Built first as a Roman temple in the second century AD, it then became a Byzantine church before becoming a mosque.
We will take a yacht tour around the old town (extra cost) to capture some stunning views as well as taking a cable car ride to see everything from the air. Nothing is left to spare on this full day adventure. On our return to Kemer, we’ll also stop by at the Duden waterfalls which are the highest waterfalls on the Mediterranean coast at an astonishing 42 metres high. Lunch is included in the price and we aim to have you back to your hotel by about 5pm after a day full of exploring, history, culture and fun.

Our friendly driver will collect you at 9am and you will begin your drive to Antalya. Please bring your camera and remember to have some extra money for souvenirs, the yacht trip and drinks. It’s a good idea to bring extra sun cream as we’ll be outside a lot of the time.
Cable Car: We’ll take the cable car from Antalya to the small mountain of Tunektepe which gives amazing views of the city and surrounding area. Many locals enjoy taking the cavle car up the mountain to enjoy picnics. We’ll join them and be able to take the most amazing photos when we reach the top.
Old Town: Anatalya’s old town is a stunning area of historical buildings and ruins. Antalya was first a Roman town, then Byzantine and this was followed by the Ottomans. The walls and buildings literally breathe history. Explore the beautiful streets and admire the Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Cami mosque which was built in the 18th century and is one of the most important Ottoman buildings in the city.
Hadrian Gate: You’ll also get the chance to visit the Roman ruin of the Hadrian’s gate. This was built to commemorate the visit of Roman emperor Hadrian and even today is well preserved so you can admire the architecture and the colourful, floral pieces of art along the walls.We’ll also visit the city square which is famous for it’s clock tower which was built during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid the second. There are also some ancient statues around the square. Your guide will be on hand to talk you through each monument and the stories and legends that come with them.
Boat Trip: A unique way to experience the city is to take a yacht tour around the harbour and surrounding sea. Some fantastic photo opportunities present themselves during the journey and it’s a wonderfully serene way to enjoy sightseeing.
Back To Kemer: On our return to Kemer we will stop off at the Duden waterfalls. This sight of natural beauty is the highest waterfall on the Turkish Mediterranean. 42 metres high the waterfall is a fantastic sight and it makes for a very refreshing stop on our way back home.
Inclusive: This full day experience includes return transfers and lunch. You will need to bring extra money for drinks and the yacht trip and for any shopping that you do.

We wanted to from Kemer and this trip enabled us to have a wonderful day. It offered a great opportunity to explore the city and we enjoyed the sea view with the boat trip. The cable car tour offered a unique view. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside would have been visiting some spots where we could have spent a little more time, but it was still a great experience and I would definitely recommend it!
