About Upside Down House
The first ever upside down concept opened its doors in 2016 in the beautiful city of Antalya. This unique photo experience is located at Metrocity Shopping Mall. Once you are in, get ready to immerse yourself into a whole new world. In fact, every room of this photo experience is upside down, meaning that you can walk on the ceiling and look up at the floor. Yes, you got that right! You can snap the most fun photos, while tricking your friends. Even though the Upside Down House is small, it promises enormous amounts of laughter!
Metrocity Shopping Centre
The Upside Down House is part of the Metrocity Shopping Mall, which is found in the Besiktas district. Therefore, you can combine this incredible experience with some shopping or with other entertainment options. The mall hosts more than 175 local and international brands. Inside, you may also find a variety of restaurants, cafeterias, and bar, all concentrated in a specially designed food hall. The shopping mall is actually really interesting in terms of design and architectural style, as it covers a huge area and it’s mainly open-air. Metrocity is ideal for families, as it features many playground and workshop areas.
Getting there
If you wish to join this unique photo experience, all you have to do is find your way towards Metrocity Shopping Centre. Due to the central location, the facility is easily accessible with a taxi. In case you are planning to visit Upside Down House with public transportation you can use the metro. More precisely, if you are coming from the European side of the city, use the M2 metro line, direction Yenikapi – Haciosman, and get off at the Levent station. In case you are travelling from the Asian part of the city, use the Marmaray towards Yenikapi station. Then, use the same M2 metro line as described previously.
Upside Down House: Tips
Here are some tips to make your experience even smoother. Reaching the mall via metro is really easy. In fact, once you arrive at the station keep your eyes open for the signs and follow them until you arrive at the shopping centre. Once there, all you have to do is present your digital pass and then your world will turn upside down. You can actually take photos in a reversed bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. So get ready and do not forget your camera!
Fun, fun, and fun. This house-themed attraction is superb! We were there yesterday with my 2 teenage girls, and it was a great thing to do as a family. We couldn’t stop laughing, and we took many photos to trick our friends back home. Basically, it is about visual illusions and in the end it’s like you are upside down, or shorter, or taller and I promise you gonna have fun if you go there with kids. I’ve seen similar pictures and never understood how is this possible, so yes, I’m lucky I went there!! The other thing is that this experience is in a shopping mall, and we combined visits. Super!
Not our first time in such a photo house, but it was for sure unique. Went with my friends and family few weeks ago and had a great time there. We booked our tickets online and the process was easy and cool. The place is easy to find, and we had no problems during out visit. The setting is awesome, structured as a house with various rooms and items, but you are the other way round!! It was a unique experience even though I’ve been to other similar experiences. Recommended!!
