If adrenalin boost is something one of the main traits of your holiday, than Icmeler Rafting escapade is an excellent choice for you. Tricky rapids of Dalaman River and the gorgeous mountain and forest surrounding are just the scenery where a great adventure can happen.
Our adventure starts with a complementary pick-up from your hotel in Icmeler, followed by a short drive to our tour-starting point. There you will be met by our crew of skillful instructors, who will provide you with all the necessary information and instructions about the amazing trip ahead of you. You will be exploring the gorgeous Dalaman River.
Make sure to have everything you need with you such as swimsuits, towels and of course dry clothes which you will wear once the rafting ends. You should also bring some footwear that can be warn in the water, and no flip-flops, as well as a regular T-shirt which you will wear under your life-jacket. This tour is not suitable for regular cameras, and if you decide on wearing a camera it would be best if it is the waterproof kind, as the water on the rapids tends to splash into the raft.
Icmeler Rafting Tour also includes swim breaks as well as cliff jumping. If teamwork is your thing than that is one reason more for you to decide to participate in a tour like this one! At the end of Icmeler rafting excursion, the water will carry you straight to the base camp set by our staff members. There will be a delicious meal is waiting for you.
Afterwards, our driver will pick you up, and drive you back to your hotel where you can unwind and rest.
Equipment is provided for you along with all the instructions already mentioned. Here is a list of some things you should not forget to do; wear T-shirt under your life jacket, take swim suit with you or even wear it, do not forget sun glasses to protect your eyes, waterproof shoes, dry clothes as already said and avoid flip-flops because everything is slippery. If you have any physical problems than unfortunately this is not a tour for you. Please also keep in mind there is a minumum age limit (17 years old) for this tour.
Icmeler Hotels – 06:45
Icmeler Rafting adventure begins with a free pick up from your hotel in Icmeler at approximately 06.45, followed by a cozy ride to our base camp near the great Dalaman River. There we will have a delectable open buffet breakfast, with coffee or tea. After breakfast, we will start with the necessary preparations for the upcoming tour.
Instructions: Our skillful and experienced instructors will hold a briefing about the basics of River Rafting, as well as video presentations of the earlier tours. This might sound tedious, but it is the integral part of our tour, as it will make you secure and more relaxed.
Drive to the Mountains: After this very useful briefing, we will drive up to the mountains with the rafts tied on top of our minibuses. This drive lasts for about an hour, and during that time you will get to enjoy the amazing view of the nature around you.
Teams: Rafting teams consist from 8 to 10 people per raft, so in order to work together, you will have to get to know your fellow rafters. In order to raft successfully, all of you have to work as a compact unit.
Rafting Starts: Active rafting usually lasts for three hours. However, we will take some short breaks in between, and during that time you will get to rest and enjoy the gorgeous greenery around you.
Late Lunch: Once our tour on the Dalaman River ends, and once you put on some dry clothes, we will have a delicious open buffet lunch in a charming local restaurant at about 4pm.
Return to Icmeler: After we reach the city at about 7pm, our driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel in Icmeler. Transfers from your hotel and back are free of additional charge, as they are already included in the tour price.
We had the best time during the rafting tour with Mehmet. The whole tour was just incredible and very well organized. I would definitely recommend doing the rafting tour from Icmeler, it’s beautiful making your way through the canyon with your team and so much fun. The staff and the whole team on the raft was really friendly and helpful.
