In what regards the places of interest, the most known and important sited in Simi is the monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis. It was constructed during the 18th century and can be found on the southwest coast of the Island. There, you can observe an impressive bell tower or visit the museums inside the monastery. In Simi there is also an archaeological museum that includes a collection of items from the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman eras, a Byzantine collection, and a small collection of interesting folklore items.

In Simi, you can also find many charming shops selling beautiful souvenirs, clothes and traditional products. Take your time to explore these shops or relax in one of the local cafeterias and restaurants in order to taste some delicious food or drinks.
By the end of your free time, you will return back to the port in order to enter the ferry boat back to Bodrum. This excursion finishes during the afternoon when you arrive back with a sense of sweet tiredness but, full of great memories.
