We start our thrilling, jeep safari with a panaromic break where you can have beautiful pictures of Alanya. Following this interesting start we will then begin our climb through rich pine forests, banana, orange and lemon plantations, stopping at a traditional rural village to admire the architecture of the local houses and mosque and to see and learn about every day life in rural Turkey. During our stop we will be treated to typical warm hospitality as we sample freshly made Turkish bread called “gozleme” and some aromatic herbal tea which is traditionally given to travellers passing through the village. This humble welcoming is a trade mark of our friendly countryside in Turkey and must be experienced.
Following our stop at this picturesque, quaint village we continue Alanya Jeep Safari, along narrow, winding dirt tracks until we reach our beautiful Dim Cayi river. We will take a welcome break from the midday heat and enjoy swimming and bathing in the cool waters of the river.
Dim River is a great spot for scenic photography or to take a leisurely stroll along the shaded river bank. There are inflatable sofas on the river for guests to relax on, take in the sun and the stunning scenery. The famous Dim dam is close by, built to provide the local area with electricity it has also created a peaceful lake for us to enjoy and provides a haven for natural wildlife.
Lunch of a traditional chicken BBQ will be served by the water before we continue on our safari to take in the amazing landscape. Our open top jeeps allow full views of the surrounding area as we venture where no other vehicles will go. You should not worry, our local drivers are fully trained and know the route like the back of their hand. What a great day that was!!! Adventurous, yet interesting! Went on this with some friends and we all have great memories now. Jeeps were in perfect condition and the driver was a super cool guy!!! He knew a lot about the area and in every stop he was explaining things to us. Bravo!! The countryside is beautiful. We were passing through a forest and even saw some charming small villages. At a point we stop for some panoramic views and I have to stay it was breath-taking. I took many photos from there. Lunch was fresh and tasty. I liked everything!
