Terrible experience. No one picked us up, so we took a taxi but couldn't find our boat. The port staff were helpful. They offered to reschedule, but we had other plans. We requested a refund and are still waiting.

Fantastic day out. The captain picked us up from our hotel and brought us to Alanya to board the impressive pirate ship. Our kids were amazed. The crew was welcoming and kind. The boat trip included plenty of chances to swim in the Mediterranean, and the lunch served was tasty our children enjoyed it too. There was a photographer with a parrot for fun pictures, and the foam party was a big hit. Definitely worth the price and highly recommended.

The boat tour was decent overall. However, the food and service reflected the low cost nothing special. Our transfer was mixed up, so we had to arrange our own taxi to the boat. When I asked about a return transfer to the hotel, the response was quite rude, simply telling me to arrange my own transport back.

We were picked up from the hotel in an overcrowded minibus that didn’t have enough seats for everyone, which felt unsafe especially with small children inside moving at high speeds. Although we paid extra to be on one of the largest boats, we ended up on a smaller one. Arriving just before departure meant we got some of the worst seats at the back of the boat. The complimentary drinks were only available on other decks and served in very small cups, so we had to keep walking to get refreshments. Alcoholic drinks like beer were quite pricey.

I also wish there had been an opportunity to swim in the caves, as the breaks would have been a bit more exciting.

Due to an anchor issue, our journey started more than an hour later than planned. Furthermore, we arrived ashore almost an hour earlier than expected. We felt we should have spent more time on the boat. Other pirate boats that had left on time returned after us.

Myself and my kids, 18 and 12, really enjoyed this trip. The hotel transfer to and from the boat was simple and hassle free. From the moment we boarded the pirate ship, we had an amazing time. You can choose whether or not to swim in the sea if you want to, you can jump in, use the ladders, and there are life jackets available. As someone who is scared of the ocean, I felt completely safe since the staff were very attentive and a police boat followed us for extra security. There was a self serve drinks machine, and lunch was served around noon, which was delicious. It was the highlight of our holiday, and the kids want to do it again, but unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time.
