Overview

Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Alanya to Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its dazzling white travertine terraces, Pamukkale has attracted visitors for centuries. The thermal waters flowing through the terraces are not only stunning to look at but are also known for their healing properties. You’ll have the chance to stroll barefoot on these unique formations and experience the therapeutic benefits for yourself. This natural wonder promises to be the highlight of your trip.

Explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, which sits just above the travertines. This historic city, established during the Hellenistic period, is home to well-preserved ruins, including a grand Roman amphitheater, a necropolis, and ancient bathhouses. Your guide will bring the past to life with fascinating stories and insights into the daily lives of the people who once called this place home. Hierapolis offers a unique opportunity to connect with history while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

As part of your Pamukkale experience, you can choose to visit Cleopatra’s Pool, a warm, mineral-rich thermal spring surrounded by ancient Roman columns. Legend has it that Cleopatra herself once bathed here. Whether you take a dip or simply relax by the water, this stop is a must-see for anyone looking to add a touch of luxury and history to their day.

Throughout the tour, you’ll enjoy a variety of meals that showcase Turkish cuisine. From a hearty breakfast to a satisfying buffet lunch, every meal is designed to keep you energized for the day’s adventures. Each bite will add another layer to your experience of Turkish culture.

From hotel pickup to drop-off, this tour ensures a hassle-free experience. With air-conditioned transportation and an expert guide to provide commentary, you can focus on enjoying the breathtaking scenery and unique destinations without worrying about logistics.

It was a very nice visit. Salda Lake is beautiful, and Pamukkale and Hierapolis are stunning as well. Our guide was excellent. A minor downside was that we stopped twice at shops, which felt unfortunate since we only had two hours to visit Pamukkale. An extra hour on site would have been better. Unfortunately, we couldn’t swim in the limestone travertines. The meals were buffet style simple but good.

We were picked up very early right outside our hotel in Alanya, which made the whole process really convenient and ensured we arrived at Pamukkale with plenty of time to spare.

Everything went smoothly. The bus made frequent stops where you could buy food and drinks. Our tour guide, Apo, was very friendly and made sure no one got lost. Pamukkale was beautiful, though quite crowded with other tourists. The water was warm, which is nice during colder months but not so much in the summer. Overall, it was a very good tour 5 stars.
